I purchased this watch as a birthday gift for my boyfriend and couldn't wait to give it to him. I was concerned about whether the face would be black or blue because the description says blue but the title of the item says black. The face is a VERY dark blue - when you look at it head on it looks black but when adjusting the light you can see the blue in it. The watch is very classy and timeless. Great gift for a special occasion or for someone to wear for years to come.
