4.0 out of 5 stars Fun Game Until You Advance...
This game is a lot of fun, but the more progress you make the game starts to slow down. I agree with one other critic, there must be some type of bug in the game itself because when you advance it just goes wack-o. You can click on items and it will say you clicked the wrong thing. Then you are moving faster than what the system can keep up with. That part really...

3.0 out of 5 stars Fun but REALLY Buggy
I love the game play in this one -- cooking for customers in a fast-paced environment and learning new recipes for burgers, shakes, and fries. It is one of the better dash games in my opinion.

I love the game play in this one -- cooking for customers in a fast-paced environment and learning new recipes for burgers, shakes, and fries. It is one of the better dash games in my opinion.

THAT SAID, once I get up to the more advanced levels, the software bogs down and it becomes hard to play, slow, and fuzzy. I've tried starting my game over, reinstalling the software, and actually RE-purchasing the software from another source. Same results every time. In reading some on-line reviews of the game, I saw that other people were saying the same thing.

Bottom line: You'll enjoy the heck out of the game until you get to the advanced levels. Then you'll become extremely frustrated.

Then you are moving faster than what the system can keep up with. That part really irritates me. There is nothing that can be done to resolve it. I think it's the way the game was created.

4.0 out of 5 stars Burger Island: Twice The Pleasure of a Trip For Less Than A Quarter of The Price Of a Plane Ticket, October 22, 2007
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Burger Island (Video Game)
Meet a burger babe who works her culinary magic on over ten different types of burgers, fries and shakes!

Watch her whip out food for up to four customers at one time. Just be careful and keep an eye on the food that is cooking or it will burn (throwing food out makes you lose money). As the game progresses, the customers become more anxious to receive their orders as quick as possible. The more customers you lose, the less money you receive. There is a start and closing time and you must meet every dollar amount goal in order to advance to the next level.

Purchase new recipes for burgers, fries and shakes. The harder the item is to make, the more money you seek to receive.

Lose a customer or do something wrong and your sous chef "boss" will pop out and scream French sayings to you.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Really Fun Game!, June 19, 2008
A Kid's Review
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Burger Island (Video Game)
Burger Island is a really fun game. I love the parts where the player gets to try new recipes, and where the player gets a new burger shack. The only part that I don't like is that it gets kind of boring doing the same recipes over and over again with really, no progression. But overall this is an awesome game.
