After the first time I used this product to season my beans, I knew I would never go back to ham seasoning. Great with green beans naturally, but they a really add a superb flavor to dried beans (black eyed peas, northern beans, etc). We cook a lot of beans and cornbread in the winter and stock up on this seasoning for this diet staple.

This is exactly what I wanted for cooking. I freeze it and use it when ever I want for really good baked beans, or german potato salad, or BLT's. I save the rendered fat and add a little to my oil for fried potatroes. I like the price and the ease of bringing home this bacon.
