In a tasty update of BurgerTime, you star as intrepid Chef Peter Pepper, trying to assemble a bevy of big burgers despite interference from giant hot dogs, pickles and eggs, all of which are in pursuit (and deadly to the touch). Your handy peppershaker can stop them in their tracks momentarily, but you only have a limited number of them. Additional peppershakers appear briefly, which you can grab to recharge your supply. In early stages, BurgerTime Deluxe is deceptively simple, with the entire playing field confined to the edges of the screen. But once you advance into the second area (analogous to Super Mario Bros. worlds), you roam a larger area, the screen scrolls, and your edible enemies grow more aggressive.

Burger Time! You know, when I was just a kid, I was pretty darn good at this game. Now? I suck! What does that say for me? Maybe I got soft after playing all the newer game systems for years now. Either way, it's a hard but entertaining game. My problem with it is the music or sound, whatever you want to call it. I suggest muting the thing and grabbing an I Pod or somethin' while you run from the hotdogs and other food people. And yes, I get frustrated when I reach level three and they decide to add intelligent pickles in the mix to kill or tockle you. I'm not sure of which it is.

The graphics are simple, and there is really no story line. Just make the freakin' burgers while trying to outwit the stupd egg, hotdog, and pickles. A tip for you will be to always fo for the top burgers first, if you can. And the eggs and pickles are smart, not so easy to outsmart as the idiotic hotdogs. Woudl I buy this game yet again if I had to?... Yes! Other than fond memories, it's a challenging that I dare any gamer who calls the NES games wimpy to buy and play this game for awhile. You'll be instantly remorceful for not giving this game or others like it a chance. Buy it if you want something simple yet challenging!!

totally awesome and i love it. the only problem is its controlles...they easily get stuck and prevent me from moving and then i die. Sigh i wish i had a better controller like a joystick, but luckly i bought a joystick for the NES system. Hope it works! ;)
