Great way to keep your watch wound when you are not wearing it.
ED WOOD
Maybe if it spun faster or didn't pause for as long then it would work better.
Elizabeth
Winder worked as advertised for the a few days then stopped working.

I got this to keep my Rolex wound when I went on vacation. I have a knock-around watch I use when I am out of the country and I know it is bad to let a self-winding watch stop as the oil pools and other bad things can happen.

I was a little concerned because it was so cheap, but when I got it and tried it out it was perfect. They do recommend getting a power timer and having it only run 4 hours a day to keep it from overwinding . . . since one of those outlet times are less than $5, not a big deal. To get one that was completely automatic would have cost 3 times what this one does.

It is completely silent, so you could have it in your bedroom. It only goes one direction, either clock-wise or counter. I consulted with my Rolex expert and he said either would work . . . also said that it was impossible to overwind any Rolex made after 1972 as they put in a safety system that stops it from winding more than the spring can take.

This is a good buy.

I needed a single automatic watch winder and didn't want to spend a lot. This fit the bill in that regard. However, it's performance is inconsistent. I have to fiddle with the plug every time I put the watch in it to make sure it runs. If I don't, there's a good chance it's not going to work right. I would spend a little more and get a different automatic watch winder unless you like having to remember to play with the plug every day.

Reading over the reviews I noticed a couple mentions of this winder failing to work with Seiko Kinetic watches. Well, I have a Field & Stream and it was not getting wound with this unit. I would notice my power reserve meter remaining unchanged and over a day it would be losing power. For the first week or so I owned it I'd have to take the watch out and wind it (obviously now what I wanted to do). I decided to try changing the angle of the watch hoping it would better engage the watch's internal winder. I did this by sitting the unit in a plastic plant saucer and now the watch is at a 90° angle to the table. Wow, does it ever wind now! It appears it might now be too good, so to only allow the unit to run maybe 2 hours per day I could hook it to an external timer. The unit's internal timer has it winding a watch 1 hour out of every 4, or 4 hours of winding per day.

This is my first winder and I've since noticed some of the more pricey models have ways of tweaking and setting the internal timers.

Watch winder would not function after about 4 months. I just wanted my winder repaired or replaced.

Many e-mails have been sent to the company. They answered the first one requesting purchase date, model number, receipt information. This information was promply sent. Many e-mail follow ups have been sent with no replies from the company. I requested "read receipts" on the e-mails. The e-mails were received and read.

The watch winder is a piece of junk and Belocia do not stand behind their product.

The watch winder worked as promised. The instructions could be a little more detailed, but the design is great.

I have had this so called watch winder for about 3 weeks now and I have to say it is a piece of junk. I have tried to put the watch in the winder at night before I go to bed, I've tried to leave it in the winder for a week at a time and no matter which way I do it the watch is never wound enough for the watch to continue running more then a few hours. I still have to hand shake the watch 100 to 200 times for it to continue running. I guess the old adage is correct "you get what you pay for". Do not buy this product, you'll be sorry.

Signed,
Extremely Unhappy!!

I have a Seiko kinetic watch. It had completed decharged because I had no worn it for months and I didn't realize that my old winder had quit working. After wearing it for one day it had built up a 'five' second charge (by this I mean when the test button was pushed the second hand move five seconds). After two days in this winder it was nearly discharged as indicated by the second hand doing two second jumps.

DO NOT BUY THIS WINDER if you own a Seiko Kinetic watch. IT DOES NOT WORK! Worse, it does not say this in the description.

For those who can use the winder please be aware that it does not have MULTI-settings... it has one switch with clockwise, counter-clockwise and off positions. That to my mind is TWO setting and TWO does not equal MULTI.
