Our family has a Jack Russell, so I bought one book for fun. My daughter and I read it and loved it. Now we own all of the books. From the Jack facts to the nose maps these are so fun to read.

I bought four of these Jack Russell Dog Detective books at a used book sale. My son LOVES them. I'm just happy he is reading more chapter books. His school's library has the whole series. He is looking forward to reading the other eight books in the series. He is planning on borrowing one a week until he has read them all. They are very engaging for a seven year old. He will read one of these books in a couple of days. He does not want to put them down and argues at bedtime to be able to read just one more page before I turn out the lights. My only complaint is that there are only 12 books in this series. Wish there were more since I finally found a book series my son LOVES.

My daughter loves dogs and LOVES these books. I wanted her to read more chapter books and she just eats these ones up! I might have to move on up to more substantial books now but these were great for getting her started!
