Let me start by saying that I was more than a little skeptical about this product...at first. We are a whole food, plant based family and believe in the power of nutrition and vitamins based on personal experience. My 7 year old son is a VERY involved child. He has a hard time sitting still and keeping his focus at home, in school, sports, etc. He just started 2nd grade and the teacher gives daily updates on attention, behavior and overall attitude. For the first three weeks of school we were getting very negative feedback almost every other day and his "listening skills" at home were absolutely terrible. We did everything that was suggested by professionals (friends)to no avail. We decided to request testing by the school and they informed us that his class disruption wasn't severe enough. We then sought out educational behavioral therapists in our area. The soonest appointment was weeks away....

We came across this product at a health food store (at almost 2X the price as here on Amazon). We figured it definitely couldn't hurt. Two days after he started taking this product we noticed a dramatic difference. At first we thought it was most likely a placebo effect because we told him it was a vitamin that will help him focus. But it's now been 4 weeks. Besides his listening and focus at home being 1000% better, his teacher actually requested a meeting with us to tell us personally that he has had the most positive and amazing turn around! She told us to keep doing what we're doing. His grades have rocketed (because he doesn't rush to finish) and he is a class helper AND has received NO frowny faces ANY days over the last 4 weeks.

Overall, I can only speak about what this stuff did for MY son. I don't believe that he has ADD or ADHD.

I got this product because I had spent my first trimester cutting up the big horse pills I was first given. I have always had a problem with swallowing big pills plus the pills made me feel terrible! I had completely given up and stopped taking prenatals alltogether and then I bought this. It is easy to use-one tbsp in the morning and one at night. It doesn't make you sick so you can take it without food. No pills, no stomach sickness-all the same great stuff you need to give your baby the proper nutrition. It tastes like a mix between orange juice and grapefruit juice so if you don't like that taste, you may not like this.

I purchased a bottle of this supplement just last week for my 24yr old son who was diagnosed with ADD in 3rd grade. He has attention and memory problems, plus is anxious and frustrated all the time. These problems have seriously affected him in his work and social settings, not to mention continuous stresses at home. After looking online for a natural approach (not wanting to go with pharmaceuticals again) and becoming more & more confused in their claims and costs, I visited a reputable local health food store and was told by the owner that this formula is being sold off the shelves for children and adults as well. I paid double the price here ($30 for 16oz) but was ready to give it a try. My son takes between 1 and 1 1/2 tablespoons each morning and says it does taste bad but doesn't hesitate because it IS helping him. Plus I can see a big difference socially and at home. He is more calm and says he's remembering things better at work. We will definitely be ordering more if he continues to do this well. So glad.

My son was on Added Attention for two weeks, and things just exponentially got worse for him. I am a scientist and I decided to try this product after a difficult week at school because he was not focused on task. I chose this product because of the phospholipids, not the massive B vitamins, and definitely not the hers. I kept him on the vitamin because I realized that it's not immediate that phospholipids are incorporated into cell membranes. However, two days ago, I realized that he had became simply out of control, literally bouncing off the walls. It was at this time that I logged onto Amazon to see if other parents had observed an increase in hyperactivity, and there were a few. So, I pulled him off of Added Attention that night (we dose him before bed in the evenings). The next day we saw a dramatic improvement in his behavior and today was even better. Thank G-d!

The good news here is that most of these vitamins and herbs must be water soluble as we saw an immediate reversion back to his normal behavior. I can live with his normal behavior, but I can't live with his behavior when he was taking Added Attention. Maybe we needed to titrate the dosage down further than 1Tblsp per evening, but this was an alarming experience for us. All children are different, and it may work for your child; however, I suggest using a smaller dosage if you want to give it a try.

One thing that we have seen an improvement with is using MegaRed Omega-3 krill oil (extra strength) by Schiff (a very old company). It's an omega-3 made from Krill instead of fish, which are much less fishy tasting. MegaRed also contains phospholipids. We give one in the AM and PM and there is no associated indigestion. However, it's not a magic bullet, OmegaRed appears to have an effect after medium to long-term usage.

Good luck to all parents out there trying to make our childrens' lives better without pharmaceuticals.
