Book Description

January 10, 2006 9 and up4 and upBuried Treasure
Comprised of Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, the Mid-Atlantic States are rich in history, culture, legend, and lore. This twelfth book in W.C. Jameson's Buried Treasure collection offers thirty tales of this region that have remained largely uncollected and unpublished for generations. Lost mines, buried loot, caches of gold and silver ingots, gangsters, Indians, pirates, chests of precious stones -- such are the ingredients of a rich stew of folkloric treasure gathered from a melting pot of America.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great as usual, September 9, 2007

This review is from: Buried Treasures of the Mid-Atlantic States (Paperback)
I have read a number of these books in the last few months and they are a easy and great read. Jameson paints a great picture for each story. The down side to reading alot of his books is some of the stories are used more than once. But other than that, great books by a great story teller.
