5.0 out of 5 stars excellent read for the serious and the curious, December 11, 2001

This review is from: Buried Treasures of the Ozarks (Paperback)
W.C. Jameson does a wonderful job of relating the tales of times gone by and the treasures left behind. He never states as fact that which he does not know as fact. A great read! I would recommend it to arm-chair treasure hunters and "professional" ones, alike.

My one minor complaint is the lack of more detailed, historic maps, but then again, half the fun is finding those on your own.
