Bear, nicknamed the Ambassador of Love) is touring the United States and world countries in spreading a message of love, peace, having fun, and curing disease. It is also a heartfelt "thank you" to the many individuals, businesses, and organizations that helped to create an increased awareness of cystic fibrosis (CF) and to raise over $300,000 for CF research. In an era of anxiety and pessimism about where the world is headed, these efforts stand as a hopeful reminder of what people, working together, can accomplish. Finally, I included information about a psychic's life readings and my personal communications with Burke after he died to emphasize that what we call "death" is just another form of invigorated life that we have yet to understand and accept.

I have to say as someone who buys frequently from Amazon, I felt compelled to write my first review on this book. This story is one that is near and dear to me. Although I never got a chance to meet Burke personally I would have been honored if I had. This is a must read book that tells the story of one courageous boy and the struggles that he incurred because of a horrible digusting disease. That disease is Cystic Fibrosis. It also tells how he had a Boyd's Bear named after him. That bear is Burke P. Bear. To find out more, buy the book!!

Burke's Tour embodies the inspiration that fuels the quest for a cure to Cystic Fibrosis. Its pages relate the support and journey of friends, family, communities, and PACFI. This book is a tribute to Burke Derr and the bear named after him. Even more than that, this story shows what a boy and a bear can continue to teach us about life and the human spirit.
