Built for years of use, the patent-pending Burley Flex Connector attaches the trailer's tow arm to the Burley hitch. Allowing for up to six feet of torque, the Flex Connector allows you to lay your bicycle down flat while the trailer remains in an upright position. The connector comes with a safety strap and a D-ring. Please note: this model is intended for use with a square tow arm.

I got more than I bargained for on this item. I thought I was just buying a replacement Burley bicycle trailer lollypop for a 1" square tow bar tube. The item I received was a Burley #950038 "Burley square tow bar flex coupling kit". The kit contains the hitch connector lollypop (as pictured), bolt, lock nut, safety strap assembly, D-ring pin with clip and installation instructions.

I picked up the connector as a replacement for a burley trailer that we picked up off craigslist.

The original trailer came with a different type of mount that wouldn't work on our disc brake bikes, this attachment, along with the Hitch http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GSMUDA/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title made for an easy setup on our bikes.

We have an old burley with a worn out hitch or tongue, whatever you call it. This fits perfectly and works great with the axle mounted receiver. Strap, bolt, pin, everything is included. The best 5 dollar upgrade i can think of!
