I really thought that I would like to own this hamper when I was registering for my new baby. I thought it was pretty, and it would go well with the decor of the nursery. After actually using it, I wished that I did not register for it because the wicker does tend to be fragile and not sturdy. It's purpose is more for looks than for function. The splinters come off into the baby's clothes, especially from the lid of the hamper. [My daughter won't exactly be able to tell me that she has a splinter in her clothes because she is just not born yet--due out next week. =)] The liner bag gets stuck on the wicker when I am trying to either remover the bag, adjust it, or place it back in the hamper. Also, I think that the hamper is a little bit on the pricey side. I only have it because I received it as a shower gift. I would never have spent that much money on a hamper. One positive note is that I still think the hamper is a pretty hamper, and it looks really nice in my daughter's nursery.

I think this is a very pretty basket, but, the minute I opened it, pieces of the basket were falling off. For the money, it's not worth it, unless you don't use it and use it for show, because once pieces fall off they are very sharp.

I purchased this hamper as a baby shower gift for my sister. It also served as the wishing well at the shower. I decorated it with bows and curly ribbon and foil helium balloons. The hamper is beautiful and it is a full size hamper. It is not real small like other baby hampers, which to me are too small especially when you could easily change a baby 3 times a day. This is the perfect size and comes with a gingham washable liner bag. It is something that can be used for a very long time and not only limited to the nursery, it looks good in anyones bedroom or bathroom...

I thought that this product was going to be perfect. It looked adorable in the picture. I purchased it and when I opened the box I was covered in little white paint chips. Basically the paint was chipping from the entire basket. I had to return it to the store and then spent a week cleaning up the paint chips that I keep finding around the nursery.

i am pleased with this purchase. this is a nice sized bin... used for laundry and occassionally as a toy basket. i love that the liner is washable. this is a sweet addition to my baby's nursery and will work well as she grows older, too.

I registered for this hamper because it went so well with my son's nursery. It is cute but it does chip very easily and I have already scraped myself on it. However, the most annoying thing was that the drawstring on the liner frayed within the first week of using it. I washed the liner and the liner came out just fine and the drawstring frayed even more. I finally removed the drawstring and threw it away and I just use the liner without it.

FYI - JCPenney sells this for more money and you have to buy the liner separate (interesting profit booster, eh?). Buy it here and save yourself some money. It's a nice hamper and so fitting for a daughter. :)

It's adorable & works well but pieces will break off from handle area. Could be dangerous once kids got older & started crawling...

This hamper has been great so far and looks wonderful in the nursery. No paint has chipped off and it is pretty sturdy. I'm giving it 4 stars because the liner is difficult to put on and take off.

This little hamper is adorable, but looks are sometimes deceiving. It is not quite sturdy enough for the abuse of being used on a daily basis, or the abuse my toddler can dish out. Cute for "looks" but not an everyday hamper.
