... this piece of music is finally out! "Burn And Rise" offers eversything from dark and groovy beats which make me wanna dance to emotional and quiet moments which make me relax and dream!

Just awesome!

After the new Massive Attack and Portishead crap i almost lost my faith in the genre.

But here is Panic Girl with a suprisingly diverse and tightly produced debut Ep.

this is by far one of the most refreshing releases I've heard in a long time. great mixture of different electronic genres with a deep trip hop angle! every track is very figurative - kind of a cinematic experience every time I listen to them.

This album is a perfect example of how Trip Hop should sound like these days! I've been listening to Tricky and Massive Attack for years but this sounds astonishing! Also check the video to "Burn And Rise"!!!

Ten years ago, it was Massive Attack that unpredictably hit MTV like a storm. Today, between ringtone-charts and the daily pop-soup, it hit me - teh video of "Burn And Rise" by Panic Girl. Minimalistic beats, combined with deep melodies and vocals that seem to hail from somewhere way past our (musical) horizon. If we take a closer look though, we are able to locate the center of the storm in Munich/Germany, where the "sound laboratory" of Martha Plachetka aka Panic Girl is located. How she manages to produce and create all these mystic melodies and lyrics - I don't know. I just know that it's good, and, depending on where you came from, it can take you ten years back or ten years ahead. Bagged!
