3.0 out of 5 stars 2.5 stars - average modern rock May 6, 2010
Format:Audio CD
Burning the Edge is the latest album from Florida rockers Torcher. The band plays hard rock that's pretty much in line with what you'd hear on mainstream rock radio - that post-grunge, somewhat dreary Nickelback type rock. There are some heavier, Alice in Chains-ish moments, but for the most part Burning the Edge is a middle of the road rock album.

There are some decent songs here, and overall the album is pretty solid, but at this point I have to wonder if we really need yet another band that sounds like Nickelback and Three Doors Down. If that's your thing, by all means give Torcher a try.
