5.0 out of 5 stars UK punk!, January 31, 2006
By
This review is from: Burning Ambition: History of Punk 1 (Audio CD)
I used to have this about 17 years ago. I had a tape of a tape of a tape...You get the picture. I finally broke down and bought the double cassette comp. I loved it! I just don't understand why there were pictures of bands who weren't even on the comp such as the Sex Pistols. And there were no Clash or Ramones songs. The history of punk only included many bands from the UK, mostly songs that never made it on US releases. It was cool! Amazingly enough, the only 2 US bands were the Dead Kennedys and Johnny Thunders & The Heartbreakers. What can you do?

I guess they couldn't find a particular song from the Ramones that be identified them or with the Sex Pistols or Clash.

So if yer reading this and you want to hear some real punk rock from the 70's, this comp is for you. I don't really know about V. 2 or 3. That was after my time. I've only known about V. 1. It's great!
