I am listening to this cd while i write this review. I had no idea that this type of music was still being made until a couple of years ago. The music of EDGUY is not the most original music out there,but it is just about the most melodic metal you will ever hear.These songs just get stuck in your head for days.Burning Down The Opera gives you the feeling that you are right there in the 5th row getting you hair blown back from the sonic assault taking place right in front or you.The performance is just about flawless.The songs sound even better than the studio versions.You can feel the drums thumping and the guitars and vocals are mixed right up front.It really sounds like you are right there!The song selection concentrates on a good mix of Vain Gory Opera,Theater Of Salvation,and Mandrake.They even through in a couple tunes from "Avantasia".(lead singer Tobias's side project wich you should also check out)I have the limited ed. digibook,and the packaging is great!Don't even hesitate,buy this cd right now!You will not regret it.
