At the end of his two-hundred year exile on Earth, he comes to a conclusion and judgement that the enire planet must be destroyed. Realizing Earth is being drawn toward the sun, cosmologist and professor of astronomy, Trevor Cleveland, discovers the military official he has been forced to work with is not humanand responsible for the planet's orbital deviation. The professor draws out a plan for the world's salvation, but his sanity is quickly slipping away. Daniel Dodge, a young Indian man living on the reservation in northeastern Arizona, uncovers the truth of his lineage: he is only half-human, and his biological father is destroying the planet. Daniel must find and kill his father with his own special "gift." But Earth is getting hotter, the sky is burning, and people are dying.
