Hadn't heard of this band, caught them on a cold night in Vegas, on Fremont St of all places. Was impressed enough to pick up the CD (ok, had a few beers too), but listened to the first song "Interstate" driving into the sunset, on the Interstate, with my wife back to California. Being an older guy these days, sort of surprised when I find music can still make you feel. We're converts. Excellent music. Going to buy more.

So much talent and so little recognition. Just listen to the first track, "Interstate," and you will buy the record. Unbelieveable they aren't on the radio....along with Dan Colehour (you should order "Straight To The Highway" right now!!) and Wade Bowen.

As a huge fan of the Randy Rogers Band, I was anxiously awaiting this album for months! I have been a bit disappointed that it seems to be a departure from their usual sound. Anyone who has seen them live knows that Brady Black plays a mean fiddle, but where is it on this album? It's mostly a background instrument with almost no noticeable fiddle solos.

Other than that, I enjoy most songs on the album, especially "Holding On to Letting Go" and "Steal You Away." I can listen to this album over and over again. Like previous Randy Rogers Band albums, it just never gets old!

Downloaded this and promptly looped it thru the mp3 several times over. Highlights include:

'Just Don't Tell Me The Truth' with its soothing ode to inevitable heartache

'Steal You Away' that chronicles the neglected love of another

'Holding On To Letting Go' speaks of a desperation to remain heartbroken

'Interstate' that begs to be unleashed on the open road

'Missing You Is More Than I Can Do' with the self reflective lyric of: but I swear if my life was an open book it would be missing a page

Good, solid stuff from Randy Rogers as they continue to climb with great lyrics and a distinctive refined country sound. They remain a favorite in our house.

Reminds me of when I was younger and heard Tim McGraws CD for the first time....in the sense that I can play the CD and listen to each and every song and LOVE it without skipping through any. After listening to this one I quickly found more of his CDs in a local western outfitter and this past weekend "She Let Herself Go" like George Strait said......to my first RR show. More than loved it and quickly fell in love watching his fiddle player! Man that boyah can get it! Videod, took a million pics and bought a couple shirts. Can't wait to see them again and next time I'll cut a little looser and get FUZZY!!!!! I was introuduced to Texas country about a month ago and have never fallen in love so fast :-)

I've owned the CD since the day it came out and always wanted the LP. I'm glad I finally got it. I think it's a must own for any RRB fan!
