One of the finest albums released in 2008.

Japan Universal are to be commended. Amazing Compilation.

The first time I got to hear a cut by Stephanie Mills, an artist Hal David and Burt Bacharach worked with on a whole album in 1975.

CD 1, Track 22. Stephanie Mills No One Remembers My Name.

Gifted songstress.

The album Stephanie Mills For The First Time is a bit of a collector's item, uncertain when it will be re-issued.

Tom Jones To Wait For Love. CD 2, Track 25. Ultra rare.

The only other version I know is by Tony Orlando, available on the famous 3 CD Rhino box set, The Look Of Love The Burt Bacharach Collection.

I can guarantee buying and ordering this delightful package of tunes is a real joy to receive in the mail.

It's so chock full of material, it takes a couple minutes to unwrap the package and admire the contents.

Nice picture of Burt Bacharach on the front cover. Courtly.

Liner notes include pictures of the front covers of 40 albums the tributes first appeared on.

That's a lot of albums.

Helps put the Bacharach & David Songbook in perspective.

A legacy worth celebrating.
