After having my hair colored it was horribly dry. Regular conditioners did nothing to help. I used to sell Burt's Bees products when I had a gift shop and remembered how good the Avacado Hair Treatment was. It is still fantastic ... better than anything professional I had tried. Do not be tempted to overwash your hair after treatment or you will defeat the purpose of the product. You will love the softness and shine!!!

This is a Great Product for dry, coarse, chemically treated hair. I like to apply it 15-30 minutes to dry hair and then wash out and continue w/regular hair styling products. Also, it's great for an "in the sun" treatment!

I have been using Burts Bees Avacado Butter for 7 years and love it. I run a tiny bit through my hair after washing and conditioning and then style. When you first finish blow drying it feels like it's going to be sticky but that goesaway in a few minutes and really leaves it shiny and healthy looking. Probably not for people with really fine hair though.

Love this product, love the smell especially. I use it as a leave in conditioner, rather than a pre-poo because my hair is pretty dry. I use this mainly on my ends so they are protected. 1 tube lasts a long time because you only need just a little. I put it in oil moisturizers that I make with a shea butter and coconut oil base. My ends and edges love this stuff.

i used this sometimes before showering to keep my hair moisturized and protected. Sometimes it leaves too much oil on but it definitely is a good product.

I have been using this product for 5+ years. I have very long hair, and it's hard to keep the mid-lengths and ends moisturized, so I swear by this lovely product to do the trick. It will keep your hair long and strong by keeping split ends at bay. What I like most about this stuff, is that you feel the difference just after one use. The more you use it, the better your hair gets. Plus, you can't beat all-natural ingredients :)

This product is out of the world! My hair is natural and this gives me excellent conditioning before shampooing. I apply very generously to my hair, cover with a shower cap and condition over night. The smell is so delicious that I never want to wash it out. But eventually I do (sometimes after wearing it in a bun all day)then shampoo and condition as usual. Yes- You must shampoo. It's very thick so I don't think a cowash is enough to get all the product out.

My only wish is that this product was made in a larger size. I only get a max of 2 applications from one tube so it's a bit expensive but worth every pennny. I have a hard time finding this in stores, so I was very happy to get this on AMZN.

I bought this after reading the glowing reviews, and adopted the suggestion of applying a little as a leave-in conditioner after shampooing. I love it! I woke up this morning and was very happy to see that my hair didn't fly in a hundred different directions like it used to. I also love how it smells. Well done, Burt's Bees!

I have been using this product for many years...from time to time I research other products to see what's out there but nothing compares to this. I go back all the time. People always compliment my hair and tell me it looks so healthy but it looks healthy because it is...and I am no spring chicken anymore. This product conditiones the scalp and that is a secret to great hair. I use it on my dogs too and their coat is so shiny people have to comment on it.

I have been using this product for over a month now and I love it. I changed the way my hair felt. It gave my hair an instant makeover.
