5.0 out of 5 stars Very Impressed
Surprisingly effective. Cleared up my infant's dry face and cradlecap flakes in one to two applications. Bought additional Burt's Bees products for Christmas that I will be trying out soon. Smells nice, but not floral or like baby lotion. Doesn't seem to leave a residue on any clothing it gets on. No adverse reaction over several weeks of use.

I have tried everything for my daughter's eczema. This has a nice thick texture without using petroleum which seems to irritate her skin. However, the product has fragrance in it! This surprises me for Burt's Bees because I thought it was supposed to be an all natural brand. Fragrance is completely unnecessary in a baby product and if I new it was in there I would not have bought this. If you don't mind fragrance, this could be a good product for you. This didn't work well for the eczema which is on her face. Like most other products I have tried, it irritates her eyes. It is very difficult to find a cream or ointment that works on the eczema but does not make her rub her eyes (the poor girl.) In summary, it's an okay product for the body if you don't mind the fragrance.

Have to apply daily, or dry skin comes back, but my baby is no longer rubbing her head on our clothing to get at the itch. Very please with this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!, September 30, 2009
I bought this product to use on my son's skin. He is 3 months old and has a severe case of Eczema. His skin is very sensitive also. I noticed a difference in the dryness of his skin immediately upon using this product! It does not cure Eczema but it helps keep it in check. He was scratching his face to the point of it bleeding. I began applying this cream to his checks after his bath and every time we were near the changing table. In about 5 days, the flaking slowed down; the redness lessened and he was sleeping better because he was not itching his face near as much as he was before I began using Burt's Baby Bee Skin Cream. I highly recommend any of Burt's Bee products but this one is a definite winner!

5.0 out of 5 stars A little goes a long way, April 12, 2008
My daughter and I have been using this Baby Bee Skin Cream on my granddaughter since she was born. It's useful as a body cream after the baby's bath, on her butt in addition to diaper rash ointments and we also put it on her face and chin, especially during the winter, to keep her skin from drying out in our windy, desert conditions.

Also, the baby is allergic to the tagless printed-on tags on the baby clothing (the tagless printing leaves a redish mark on her upper back so we usually buy clothes with tags and cut the tags off), and using a little of this cream on her upper back helps eliminate the irritation.

It has a very pleasant, soft smell and is readily absorbed into the skin so there's no greasy feel afterwards. A jar hold two ounces which doesn't sound like a lot, but a little goes a long way.

The baby is one year old now, and we're still using it daily and very satisfied with it.

I think that ALL of the Baby Bee items are great. I have used this on my youngest daughter's tough dry spots and this works wonderfully!! I recommend it highly. My daughter has super sensitive skin and nothing in the Baby bee line bothers her at all.

This creme works very well for my baby girl's butt and diaper area in general. However, for the whole body I prefer Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion cuz is lighter ;)

This cream is nice and thick. We use it on our two young kids who are prone to excema and dry patches in the winter, and it works great! It's exactly what I was looking for.

I have very very very sensitive and dry skin. I get hives from almost anything. This creme is perfect for my skin. Yes its very rich an heavy, but it doesn't make me break out. I use it on my face and my body. Most other "all natural" products have a HORRIBLE smell. This one smells like almonds. And I really love it :)

2.0 out of 5 stars smell bad and not homogeneous, January 20, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Burt's Bees Baby Bee, Skin Creme, 2 oz (Health and Beauty)
I am not very impressed by this product. It is not in a smooth texture, you see little pockets of liquid and particles of solid mixed up like ... hummus? I am more used to skin cream to be a fine creamy texture. Also it has a hint of plastic smell that i can't bear and washed off within an hour of application and unfotunately that smell still lingered for quite a while until i covered it up with the burts bee honey and grape seed hand cream. You can see that i am a burts bee fan but i am not very impressed by this cream. don't know how it works to heal the skin, don't have the patience to bear the smell.

5.0 out of 5 stars Goodbye Cheek Rash, August 15, 2011

This review is from: Burt's Bees Baby Bee, Skin Creme, 2 oz (Health and Beauty)
A little of this cream on his cheeks after a bath and the eczema-like rash is gone. Also, makes a great diaper cream. I'm using cloth diapers and it is one of the few things I can use that will completely wash out of the diapers - no strange build up. This was originally given to me as a baby shower gift...Mom tested and approved.
