5.0 out of 5 stars Mmmmmmmmmmmmm
One of THEE best smells in the whole entire world. If you love a marzipan/almond scent, this one is for you. I could just stick my nose in the jar and smell it all day.

I use it on my hands and feet before bed/after a shower & it's very moisturizing and creamy. A must have for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars just don't let it linger in your cabinet too long.
I bought some of this a few years ago and liked it because it wasn't greasy. Being an almond scent lover, i was in heaven. Thick and emolient, yes, greasy- no. I got very excited when discovered it, again, in the back of my cabinet about a year later. Unfortunatly, when I opened it a horrible smell escaped. I got very excited when discovered it, again, in the back of my cabinet about a year later. Unfortunatly, when I opened it a horrible smell escaped. This stuff doesn't have a shelf life, probably due to it's natural ingredients. So, i'd advise to use it up quickly. It's one good thing you don't want to save.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful feeling, January 9, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Burt's Bees Beeswax Hand Creme, Almond Milk, 2 oz. (Health and Beauty)
I have a terrible time finding skin care products due to allergies. Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme is missing the one catagory of ingredients that play havoc with my skin - petroleum products. After a time I usually have a reaction to most products but I've been using this for over a year with no reaction at all - and my skin feels wonderful and healthy.

The scent of this creme alone is worth purchasing it, in my book. I love naturally scented products, and this one smells nice without hitting you over the head with a baseball bat of manmade chemical perfumes. The creme is definitely soothing and terrific for dry skin on hands, elbows and even feet. I do find the creme to be a little more greasy than I normally like, but as long as you don't intend to use your computer immediately after applying the creme, you'll be fine. It absorbs into the skin in time, just not immediately as one might assume. Also, a little of this stuff goes a long way, so you get your money's worth.

5.0 out of 5 stars Buy This! Your Hands and Feet Will Love You For It!!!, March 24, 2004

I read about Burt's Bee products and thought, what the heck, I will give them a try. They seem all natural, but I was concerned about the "smell" or perfume factor (asthma sufferer). WOW! This hand balm-like cream is fantastic. It does have an almond scent, but not too overwhelming and definetly not chemical-like like other drug store lotions. Just rub the hand creme on and your skin is instantly smoother. I put it on every night before bed. It has made an improvement in the little lines on my fingers and on my hands (you can really tell someones age when you look at their hands!). Just buy this, you won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars hardcore, delicious creme, September 29, 2006

This product stands out above other lotions I've tried because it lasts longer, the smell doesn't stick to your hands, and it isn't tested on animals. I hate having to reapply lotions all the time, and this one really does the job on the first application. If you are working with paper and are sick of licking your fingertips whenever you need to turn a page, this is the hand creme for you. I love the scent of this, but if you don't, you can always try the banana, which works just as well. My favorite part about the scent is that ou are not going to reek of the product all day and annoy all of your friends and coworkers (ahem, bath and body works). It isn't tested on animals, which is great because I couldn't stand using a hand lotion that they had to smear all over some poor fuzzy creature in a cage first to prove it was safe. The containers are also great because they are very reusable. I clean them out and store all sorts of stuff in them. oh, just don't open it immediately after leaving it in a hot car all day or else all the water will escape the jar and the creme will be harder and much less easy to apply.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this stuff!, November 19, 2004
This review is from: Burt's Bees Beeswax Hand Creme, Almond Milk, 2 oz. (Health and Beauty)
I'm not a fan of almond scented things usually, but I got a sample of this in one of the kits and it's great. I bought a tub for all my female family members last Christmas and they think it's great too. It leaves your hands soft but not greasy and the scent is really nice. It's also comforting knowing it's made with natural ingredients. The only draw back is that it's in a tub, so if you have semi-long finger nails you might have trouble getting the cream out without it getting under your nails. I just use a popsicle stick or q-tip to get it out. They make a really nice milk body cream too, that comes in a pump.

5.0 out of 5 stars use burts bees for cracked heals, February 23, 2009
This review is from: Burt's Bees Beeswax Hand Creme, Almond Milk, 2 oz. (Health and Beauty)
I discovered that Burt's Bees Almond Hand Creme is excellent for cracked heals. If you use it for a week or so at night rubbed on your cracked heals, it eventually softens them and the dry cracked heals pretty much go away. This stuff is great! You have to use it every so often because the cracked heals come back eventually if you stop using the creme. In terms of its greasiness on my hands, I just rub the front of my hands (leaving it on the backs of my hands) on a towel and it takes away that greasy feeling.

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEES KNEES ;), February 16, 2008
This review is from: Burt's Bees Beeswax Hand Creme, Almond Milk, 2 oz. (Health and Beauty)
I bought this in the middle of the winter for my dry cracked hands, and also my husbands dry, cracked and splitting hands (hes is in the home improvement business). I just happened to see it in the store and thought I would give it a try as I have done with so many creams. I really didn't expect miracles, as we have tried so many hand creams to repair my hands and my husbands. Well to our surprise, this cream worked miracles! We were so surprised. I never new almonds could do such a great job healing..but...it smells like cherries to me...my husband likes the smell...not feminine or masculine. It is very, very, soothing. It takes a while to rub it in, and it does leave your hands greasy. That is the only draw back. I would say this is a "night hand cream". I put it on before bed. When I wake up..honestly my hands are like silk! I could not believe it. My husbands hands have improved so much...when he remembers to use it! I would recommend this if you have severe cracked skin, as it works great. But just remember it is greasy. It is not as greasy as vaseline. I have used it in the day, and just blotted it with a tissue and that helped a lot and didn't bother me all day. I would recommend this for auto mechanics or anyone that works with their hands as it has a nice smell and really works.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Heavenly, November 8, 2006
I love to just open the jar and drink in the delicious scent. So rich, the almond smell certainly comes through first and then a sharp hint of the grapefruit seed extract next, combining to make a very pleasing experience for your nose. If the smell alone doesn't make you want to dip into the thick, creamy mixture, nothing will.

I learned from the first appliation that less is more with this one. I used too much the first time and my hands were greasy and I had to go wash them before continuing to use my keyboard. This is actually good news since it means the product will last longer than I thought. It's an excellent cream to rub into dry cuticles and it leaves a soft sheen on your hands. The rich scent, while heavenly and strong in the jar, is faint and less noticable once rubbed into the hands. Gives a noticeably relieved and younger looking appearance. It's a great skin staple I keep at my desk at work for all those frequent hand washings that dry out and irritate my skin.
