5.0 out of 5 stars Best bathtime products for baby
This basket has everything to get baby clean, soft, and smelling scrumptious. For the price, the amount of products you get is worth it, and they are natural and top quality too. The diaper cream is excellent and made our baby's rash disappear in one to two uses! I only wish the dusting powder was an actual bottle not just a sample packet, but I guess it's ok because...

The product listing doesn't list the items in the basket, and although I looked at the product dimensions and noticed it was smaller than the picture made me think it would be, the good reviews convinced me it was a good buy. The basket is very tiny, and the bottles are less than full size. Besides the 2 larger bottles, the other items are very tiny, either travel-size or one-use sample size. It was a puny-looking gift and I had to throw in a couple of gift cards to not make it look so sad.

I've told myself it was still a good price for what I got, but I'm just making myself feel better.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not fit for gift giving, December 18, 2010
This review is from: Burt's Bees Bundle of Joy Baby Basket (Health and Beauty)
I agree with the previous reviewer, this item is surprisingly small and pathetic looking. There are a couple of small bottles in it and what look like a couple of trial size products. It's all covered in shrink wrap. The basket itself doesn't look like the one on the picture, it is small and very cheap looking.

This basket has everything to get baby clean, soft, and smelling scrumptious. For the price, the amount of products you get is worth it, and they are natural and top quality too. The diaper cream is excellent and made our baby's rash disappear in one to two uses! I only wish the dusting powder was an actual bottle not just a sample packet, but I guess it's ok because our pediatrician strongly advises against using any sort of powder on baby. I, however, love using the dusting powder for myself and purchased a big bottle for daily use. I also love the adorable bee-lined basket and baby comb too! Highly recommended for all new moms!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great gift!, March 25, 2008
I actually bought this myself, and I absolutely love it!!! This is the first time I have tried the Burt's Bees Baby Bee items and they are really great! They smell divine and are good on the skin. I am trying the Buttermilk Lotion on my twins for their excema. I have read some great reviews on it, so hopefully it'll work! This would make a great gift, too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very happy with the gift set but was different from picture., March 5, 2011

I purchased this giftset about a month or so ago. It came neatly packaged in a basket.
The basket looks like the one in the picture but the liner is tan and did not have bees on it. Also I noticed a few people said the liner was a shower cap, mine wasn't. It came with:
*8oz Bottle of (baby bee) Shampoo/Bodywash.
*8oz Bottle of (baby bee) Buttermilk Lotion.
*2oz Tube of (baby bee) Diaper Ointment.
*1oz Bottle of (baby bee) Baby Oil.
* .8oz of (baby bee) Buttermilk soap.

The buttermilk soap is small and round, perfect for toddlers to practice putting soap on themselves.
I bought this giftset to use on my toddler. I love the products... I plan on buying this set again soon b/c I think it is a great deal!
IT DID NOT COME WITH THE SAMPLE POWDER PACK OR THE COMB!

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect baby gift, April 12, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is the perfect baby gift, I have sent it to over 5 new moms and they all love it. Burts Bees products have been my favorite for years and this is a great way to honor a new mom and her baby. You can pair it up with the new mom gift, so moms can get the same great prodcuts as her baby. The products are all natural and paraben free, and the only proven diaper rash cream. I noticed that Clorox now owns Burts Bees, but I don't think that will change the commitment that the company has made to natural products, it will allow the company to reach a wider audience and expand on the wonderful things they have done with the products.

My daughter had her first child and I sent it as a gift for she and the baby. She loved it and said it has been very hot and humid and that it was perfect for their skin.

The picture posted for this item is not what you receive. It's really very sad looking. The items in it don't add up to the price you pay. Please update the picture! There is an 8 fl oz shampoo/wash, a 6 oz lotion, a 3 oz diaper rash lotion, a travel size 1 fl oz oil, and the smallest soap I've ever seen - even for a baby. The basket is cheap and the liner is just plain tan. I'm disappointed with Burt's Bees too. They usually aren't chintzy like this. It's a disgrace, really. I'd definitely pass on this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Small but full-size, August 3, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Burt's Bees Bundle of Joy Baby Basket (Health and Beauty)
Like many of the other reviewers I was annoyed that it did not list what the gift baskets contain. I received mine and I am guessing they don't list them because it seems they put something a little different in everyone's basket.

I was happy to see that not all of the products were trial size. Mine had a 2oz diaper ointment, 8oz shampoo/wash, 1oz baby oil, .8 oz soap, and 6oz lotion. So, the lotion, shampoo and ointment appear to be full size. The basket was rather small, and the lining did not have bees. It did not have the dusting powder or comb. I would say all in all I'm satisfied even though it was not exacty what I expected.

4.0 out of 5 stars [BEWARE] The contents of the basket are DIFFERENT from what you see in the picture!, February 16, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

The basket's contents have changed! Instead of the comb, you get a tiny soap. And the baby powder is missing.
I have no doubt that the products are wonderful. But just beware that what you get might be different from what you see.
