5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful for Baby Eczema, June 19, 2007
My 5 month old daughter has eczema and most recently, had a bad breakout of skin-colored bumps across her stomach and back which lasted several weeks. I tried all of the products as recommended by her pediatrician, including Eucerin Calming Creme and Cetaphil lotion, as well as Aveeno Baby Wash for Eczema and Aveeno Wash/Shampoo. None of it seemed to help and only aggravated her condition. A friend of mine gave me the Burt's Bees sampler kit for babies and after a week of using the Buttermilk lotion, her rash is completely gone and her skin is smooth and bump free. I highly recommend this lotion (as well as the California Baby Super Sensitive Shampoo and Wash). And it smells wonderful, which was surprising to me since I thought that you couldn't use anything with fragrance on babies with sensitive skin and had initially only been looking for fragrance free products. So, the smell is an added bonus!

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay..., March 8, 2010
This review is from: Burt's Bees Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion, 8-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
This lotion is a light moisturizer for baby. It's a thin lotion that absorbs quickly. It moisturizes pretty well, too. But I really hate the smell. All I can say is it's ICKY... kinda like the milk is sour, or something.
I prefer the milk & honey lotion for my daughter. It moisturizes the same but the smell is A LOT nicer than this lotion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beelicious!, October 22, 2007
I don't have any babies laying around, this good stuff is all for me! Burt's Bees isn't for the faint of heart, the scents and products pack a punch and deliver great results while leaving chemicals and additives out of the game. This fragrance is also strong, it leaves my skin smelling like a sticky bee and I love it. Not only is it moisturizing enough for my adult skin but it's gentle, I never had any problems with the fragrance and oils they use, and I am a Burt's Bees girl from head to toe.

This product as most of Burt's Bees body lotions, is not thick; it has the texture of silky milk but it's wonderful on the skin and leaves a nice glow on it. I adore using it and then going to sleep, when I wake up my sheets still have that soft, warm faint scent of flowers and honey, it drives me crazy, I think my cats secretly like it too...

So far I haven't met a Burt's Bees products I don't love, so while I'm trying to be objective here I have to say that it's a great item and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it.
