5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful for Baby Eczema
My 5 month old daughter has eczema and most recently, had a bad breakout of skin-colored bumps across her stomach and back which lasted several weeks. I tried all of the products as recommended by her pediatrician, including Eucerin Calming Creme and Cetaphil lotion, as well as Aveeno Baby Wash for Eczema and Aveeno Wash/Shampoo. 3.0 out of 5 stars Okay...
This lotion is a light moisturizer for baby. It's a thin lotion that absorbs quickly. It moisturizes pretty well, too. But I really hate the smell. All I can say is it's ICKY... kinda like the milk is sour, or something.
I prefer the milk & honey lotion for my daughter. It moisturizes the same but the smell is A LOT nicer than this lotion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful for Baby Eczema, June 19, 2007
My 5 month old daughter has eczema and most recently, had a bad breakout of skin-colored bumps across her stomach and back which lasted several weeks. I tried all of the products as recommended by her pediatrician, including Eucerin Calming Creme and Cetaphil lotion, as well as Aveeno Baby Wash for Eczema and Aveeno Wash/Shampoo. None of it seemed to help and only aggravated her condition. A friend of mine gave me the Burt's Bees sampler kit for babies and after a week of using the Buttermilk lotion, her rash is completely gone and her skin is smooth and bump free. I highly recommend this lotion (as well as the California Baby Super Sensitive Shampoo and Wash). And it smells wonderful, which was surprising to me since I thought that you couldn't use anything with fragrance on babies with sensitive skin and had initially only been looking for fragrance free products. So, the smell is an added bonus!

5.0 out of 5 stars Beelicious!, October 22, 2007
I don't have any babies laying around, this good stuff is all for me! Burt's Bees isn't for the faint of heart, the scents and products pack a punch and deliver great results while leaving chemicals and additives out of the game. This fragrance is also strong, it leaves my skin smelling like a sticky bee and I love it. Not only is it moisturizing enough for my adult skin but it's gentle, I never had any problems with the fragrance and oils they use, and I am a Burt's Bees girl from head to toe.

This product as most of Burt's Bees body lotions, is not thick; it has the texture of silky milk but it's wonderful on the skin and leaves a nice glow on it. I adore using it and then going to sleep, when I wake up my sheets still have that soft, warm faint scent of flowers and honey, it drives me crazy, I think my cats secretly like it too...

So far I haven't met a Burt's Bees products I don't love, so while I'm trying to be objective here I have to say that it's a great item and I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Baby Lotion on the Market, April 4, 2007
I absolutley LOVE this Baby Lotion. It has natural ingredients (unlike other mainstream baby lotions) and it leaves your baby with a soft sweet scent. My baby has yet to experince and rashes, dry skin etc. This lotion goes a long way- one bottle lasted 3 months and I used it on my baby daily. I will spend the extra money to make this a permanent staple in our bathing/grooming routine. You can't go wrong with this lotion.

5.0 out of 5 stars I LOVE IT, January 18, 2011

I love this lotion, I gave up on johnson & johnson long ago. I love the smell, though my younger sister says it stinks. I guess its a matter of personal preference, but I find the scent quite lovely. Apparently Amazon is going to stop selling the two pack version of this on subscribe & save, so I guess I will have to get it elsewhere. Booooo. Amazon had the best price for it.

I love Burt's Bees products. The smell of this is great, like honey. However, I gave it only 4 stars because I would have liked something a bit more thick for baby. I am using it on myself, it's nice to have something for me that is safe for baby, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Heavenly scented!! <3, September 21, 2010

The scent alone makes me love this lotion but what makes it even more awesome is that it's so natural!! Smooth and milky, it leaves your skin satiny and lusciously scented- a bit tacky and sticky at first but let it sink in and dry off a bit. Then enjoy the smoothest, softest skin ever! :)

I love this subscription concept by the way, Amazon is awesome!

2.0 out of 5 stars Good Lotion Overwhelmed by Perfume, May 8, 2010
This review is from: Burt's Bees Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion, 8-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I love all things Burt's Bees, but this is so strong it makes me ill. It's great lotion if you don't mind the smell- even the smell isn't BAD, just STRONG. It's nice if you mix it with a non fragranced lotion, though! The texture is light and airy.

4.0 out of 5 stars a strong smelling lotion, November 14, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have always trusted Burt's Bees products, and I wanted to use a lotion on my toddler that was free from cancer causing agents. I thought it was a good price for the twin pack. The lotion is VERY strong smelling, and I found it a little overpowering for my little one. It is a pleasant smell but just very strong.
