This cleanser will work fine, but it is NOT deep cleansing if that is what you are looking for. It has menthol in it, just like other "deep cleaning" products that gives you a little tingly cleaning sensation. However menthol is a skin irritant and it is not deep cleaning. Also, does not take make up off very well at all,feels quite greasy when you use it. Also, it does leave a slight film on your face and is difficult to rinse clean. Other than that it is almost all natural and that is better than anything synthetic when it comes to skin care. Try something else if you have blemish prone skin.

ive tried everything from drugstore to department store and other natural soaps- this is by far the best- im pregnant with crazy hormones and still no breakouts when before every cleanser i had gave me that ONE WEEKLY ZIT somewhere on my face.
this stuff is ggggreat. i hope they make it for a lot longer.

What a good product. It's gentle, it's kind and it takes five years off my face. My skin feels calm, smooth, clean and fresh. Highly recommended.

Clean, smooth, and smells great! My skin feels so refreshed after using this product and I use other products from this line as well and my skin has never looked better.

I have fair skin with mild to moderate acne since the age of 14 (I am 25 now). And this is the only product that works for me and my skin, if I use anything else my face will breakout. So if it works for you, save yourself time and keep buying it. I turned my older sister onto this product and she is addicted to it as well. Hope it works for you!

Sure it cleans and it's natural, but that's about where the positive ends. The smell is okay, but the product itself sort of leaves its own oily residue. So if you have oily skin (like me) and want something to deep clean but not overdry your skin, this isn't it. I'm going to keep searching for a better alternative.

I've used a good number of cleansers from spa brands and supermarket brands, but for me this has been the best cleanser I've used. It removes make up instantly, I don't have to sit with a hot towel on my face for 15 seconds and wait for my make up to melt off. I just massage it all over my face and around my eyes to get off that stubborn eyeliner and mascara (even though it says not to put it around the eyes, just don't get it IN the eyes!) and wipe off with a wet muslin cloth. I love the smell, reminds me of sorbet, and the cream has a slight menthol tingle to it, but I haven't found it to irritate my skin, and yet I have very sensitive skin. Just be careful to not get it in your eyes as your eyes will hurt from the menthol. My skin looks and feels thoroughly clean, and doesn't feel dry or oily.

This cleanser is not very cleaning really. Actually I had to wash twice to rinse off some residue(caused by the cleanser). I wouldn't buy this if your looking for a deep clean. The thing I like that didn't make this a two star review is the tingly sensation. It lasts for minutes and to it is soothing. I like that, as a cleanser, it ok, overall nothing special in the world of skincare.

I love Burt's Bees Stuff: I love their milky body wash, their lemon cuticle cream, their lip glosses, etc...but this cleansing cream smells and feels caustic on the skin, doesn't tingle for me - it burns on my face! - and doesn't feel as good as other cleansers I have used in the past. Maybe it's the menthol that someone mentioned, but to me it feels medicinal versus therapeutic and not a pleasant experience. Thankfully I only have .39 oz. of it with a package I received, but it's hard to use it all up. I used the remainder of it up on my feet (a less sensitive area) and will not buy again.

I usually love Burt's Bees stuff! Sorry.

At first, I loved this stuff. It smells great and I enjoy the slight tingly feeling from the menthol. It leaves your skin soft, too. Then I realized that it wasn't getting my eye makeup off...ok, so maybe it wasn't meant for that, so I let that go. But THEN... I was breaking out a bit after switching to this, and thought I'd just give my skin a few days to acclimate. But then I swiped my face with a cotton ball soaked with toner after "cleansing" and ICK!! The cotton ball came away so disgusting! There was so much grime left on my face that I had to use two cotton balls. So, I don't care how nice it smells, or that it leaves my skin soft...if it doesn't clean, it's worthless. I'm taking this stuff back.
