My daughter had some irritation because she is breastfed and poops more often, so that combined with frequent wipings made her bum a little irritated. I tried other brands and they didn't help much at all, and almost all of them contain fish oil or mineral oils. Burts is all natural, and it works! I noticed the irritation going away after the first application. We now use it at every change to prevent future irritation.

This stuff works great (better than anything else really). It has no chemicals. It has a very strong but semi-pleasant smell. My daughter has extremely sensitive skin, and this ointment not only clears up her diaper rash, but gets her to a point where she doesn't even need creme for a few days. My one recommendation-squeeze/shake tube before opening...some of the oils separate out and will leak out during first use.

It's a little pricey compared to the other brands that you can buy at your local pharmacy or grocery stores but it's worth every penny! We tried a lot of brands out there but this one works like a charm. It's not greasy and it's easy to spread. It sticks well to the skin but it's easy to wipe off. It "cures" our DD's rash very quickly, almost over night and the rash was gone. And oh, it smells good too!
The only thing I can say negative about it is the plastic tube which is so hard to squeeze because it is made up of some hard plastic material. Towards the end, I need to cut the tube near the opening in order to use the remainder of the cream left in it (which is about 1/4 of the entire content) because I can't squeeze the tube anymore. If only Burt's Bees would change this tube into something a little more squeezable, it would be the perfect diaper rash cream product out there. Burt's Bees, it worth a thought!

This is by far the best diaper ointment out there. After my son was born, he developed diaper rash and we tried several ointments, including one from the hospital. Nothing works as well as Burt's Bees. Now, if he gets the slightest bit of irritation, we use a little bit of this and it clears up immediately. It does seem to have a strong fragrance, but it's from all natural essential oils like lavender and rosemary, which actually contribute to the healing process. Don't bother with anything else. This stuff is the best.

I bought this thinking it was CD safe but I don't think it is. It left behind and residue and I had to strip my diapers.

I've tried a lot of diaper creams, and this one beats them all for babies with very sensitive skin. Smells good too (well, for a while...)

We love Burt's Bees Diaper Ointment. We use cloth diapers, and it works perfectly with them. It is the only stuff we use for our babies.

We got a small tube of this as part of a Burt's Baby Bee package and loved it. We've tried Desitin and Butt Paste and didn't like them at all. Unlike the other's, Burt's isn't oily or wet. Is goes on thick and creamy, but then dries to almost a powder-like consistency. Our daughter is 11 months old, and we've only had 1 minor case of diaper rash during a bout of 'intestinal upset' that cleared up within a few days.
This is hard to find in stores for some reason, so I've had to order it online. However, a little goes a long way. Our daughter is 11 months old, and I think we've only used 11 oz total- so 1 oz per month. I recommend this to all new moms.

this stuff is thick and has an odor that is not unpleasant, but makes me think it really is working. this stuff works way better than aveeno and maybe a little better than butt paste. I don't know what this ointment has to with bee's, but it is marketing genius. can't you picture smiling Mr. Burt out in a rolling field working with his bee hives and developing great ways to transform honey into skin products?

Absolutely Wonderful Product!,

At 3 months old my daughter developed a rash that would only slightly improve with zinc oxide and dimethicone based diaper creams. After reading all the reviews for Burt's Bees diaper cream it sounded like it was God's gift to diaper creams, so I thought okay I'll try it but I was hesitant because it took two months of various baby shampoos and washes before I found one that would not break out her skin into a rash and/or over drying. I went ahead and purchase the baby gift pack that included the baby wash/shampoo, lotion and diaper cream and guess what? I'll never go back! Her rash cleared up considerably in the first use of the diaper cream (as so many other people have experienced) and was gone in 3 days. Also her hair has never looked and felt so clean and soft! After day three I started noticing that her skin felt so soft that I wondered if the lotion was even necessary (admittedly I've been using some of the lotion too and I love it!). She smells clean the day after her bath too. Now some people complain about the smell and of all the products the diaper cream was the strongest of the scents, however I still enjoyed it. I have always been a fan of the hand made soaps and it reminds me of those.
