I was looking for an alternative to the harsh chemicals of the average deodorant/antiperspirant, so I decided to give this a try. Maybe it's the sage oil, but I thought I smelled like a Thanksgiving turkey after spraying it on. Fortunately, that kind of faded through the day. Ultimately, though, the product did nothing for me -- by the end of the day, it was as if I hadn't put any deodorant on at all. I was stinky! And this was in early Spring, when it was still relatively cool out. Seeing as how I spent $6 on it, I tried it for a week, but it just never worked for me.

For those looking for an alternative deodorant, I recommend the Crystal Body Deodorant Stick. Costs the same, has a year's worth of applications, and seems to work better than a lot of deodorants I've used.

I've used deodorant of many various brands before and never liked any. My problem with traditional deodorants it's that they only work (if at all) where you apply them. But when I sweat, my whole body sweat, not just under arm.

I find this product very easy to use, for me, because it is a spray and will go all over my body without much trouble and no unsightly residues. The scent is quite strong and takes a while to get used to. However, soon after applying, I (and people around me) don't smell the scent of the product any more and no body odor either. It's like my own body "odor" has just been "neutralized".

I can't really comment on it's lasting effect because I am basically not an active person. I need a deodorant simply because with aging my body develops stronger scent now. This herbal deodorant doesn't irritate my skin. It doesn't leave a scent after applying. And it's so easy to use. For all these qualities, I give it 5 stars.

I won't use harmful chemical deodorants or anti-perspirants, so I love to see products like this out there. This works for about half the day. They need to make it stronger. I bought some for my dad because he was breaking out from his old spice. He loves it. I prefer Weleda spray deodorant. It works better and they offer more scents. However, I recommend trying this product. I think it will simply work better on some peope, depending on body chemistry. The alcohol can burn a little sometimes.

I have never used deodorant because of a problem as an adolescent. I simply used alcohol. I purchased Doctor Burt's Herbal Deodorant a few months back. My husband developed a rash to his usual deodorant and decided to give Burt's a try. We both love it and actually love the "natural" aroma. I plan on continuing to purchase this deodorant for a long time to come. It's easy to use and doesn't leave a residue.
