Burts bee's Herbal Deodorant,
This review is from: Burt's Bees Herbal Deodorant (Health and Beauty)
My girlfriend and I both use this product. She introduced it to me last year, and i was a little skeptical on how well it would work. It works great, ive used other herbal and natural deodorants but usually started to smell myself lol. I never smell anything on me or her. The smell of the deodorant itself is very nice, a little stronger at 1st but then evens out.

I agree with the burt's bees deodorant philosophy: we should let ourselves sweat because it releases toxins! And this deodorant does let you sweat, and you are much healthier for it! It's also really effective at making your armpits smell like sort of like mint and rosemary, which is pleasant! For me it seems to be more effective than like the usual deodorants. It's also all natural, recycable, and not tested on animals, so go go go.
The ingredients are: alcohol made from yellow corn (?), water, sage oil, lavandin oil, and lemon peel oil. You may be tempted to marinate your salad. I haven't tried it, but maybe it would be good for that.

As I've become older the list of things I'm allergic to has increased. As far as deodorant goes, it got to the point that there wasn't anything I could use that didn't cause a rash that would take days to get rid of. For several years I tried different brands of natural deodorants claiming to not cause allergic reactions, but no success. I finally concluded that I could only use baby powder and that was really not that effective at deodorizing. I'd heard good things about Burt's Bees, so I ordered one bottle to try it out and I have to say that it's great. It's keeps me smelling good and no more rashes! I recommend it to anybody suffering from rashes when they use regular off the counter deodorants.

I've been getting more and more concerned about the toxins we use on our bodies. I've tried using regular deodorants (not natural)in the past, but I couldn't even handle my own smell. I can sweat pretty heavily, and this week I put my new deodorant to the test. I have an almost six month old baby at home, so you can imagine I don't just sit around all day. I also teach elementary music part-time. Neither of those things for me caused ANY odor this week. Friday was the ultimate test - I had a dance lesson in about 80 degree weather (definitely sweat through all of my clothes), gardened in the afternoon (same weather), and then went bowling that night. I intentionally never showered or changed my clothes. I think I felt more fresh that night than I ever have with a chemical antiperspirant. Even if you are a heavy sweater and are very skeptical, try it out. It's worth it for your body. I just ordered myself a 3-pack so I'll have a supply for a while.

Fresh - it makes a great foot spray!,

This spray has a refreshing scent. I didn't care for this as a deodorant at all - way too wet, and not effective deodorizing and messy to apply. However it makes a fantastic foot spray, and I use it in my shoes too. Who would have guessed?

not what i expected,

I had high hopes for this product as i love every other Burt's Bees product i have used. It smells like men's deodorant, but it doesn't work at all for me. I felt like i smelled horrible when i started to sweat and it just created an awful b.o. smell that was worse than if i hadn't worn anything at all!
