5.0 out of 5 stars Best Burt's Cleanser, September 4, 2005
By
Breena Stanton (Minneapolis, MN USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
For my facial type, which is very sensitive and somewhat dry, this is the best cleanser. The poppy seeds do not dissolve and help to scrub the face. The actual cleanser is moisturizing and smells just like cooking muffins (of the lemon poppy seed variety, of course). My skin never feels as if it is reacting with this, as I have had problems with in the past with other cleansers. I would recommend this product for sensitive, dry, or normal skin. It is just a good all-around cleanser, as well as a good precursor to the rest of the Burt's line.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really Great Product, July 12, 2005
By
This review is from: Burt's Bees Lemon Poppy Seed Facial Cleanser, 4 oz (Health and Beauty)
Let me preface this by saying, I love anything by Burts Bees. But the Lemon and Poppy Seed Facial cleanser is just delicious. It smells so yummy and makes my face so soft. It keeps my face cleared up and free from blemishes. I just love how smooth and even my face has become since using it. This stuff is the best!

4.0 out of 5 stars ~ Oily skin BEWARE ~ Dry skin A MUST HAVE, August 18, 2005
This review is from: Burt's Bees Lemon Poppy Seed Facial Cleanser, 4 oz (Health and Beauty)
First off, I give this product 4 stars because of the wonderful smell and natural texture. TRUELY SMELLS GOOD ENOUGH TO EAT
There are real poppy seeds in the mix for exfoliation.
One only need use the amount of the size of a quarter for each use. After washing it does leave your face with a clean oily film.
To the person with t-zone or if you have oily skin, You should AVOID this product or only use once a week. It does cause BREAK OUTS in people with oily skin. For example if you use the CLINIQUE #3 or #4 clarifying lotion this is not for you. NOTE THE OIL CONTENT in the ingredients
If you have dry skin this is the product for you. Due to the clean oily film left over on the face after use.
