I was thrilled when Burt's Bees came out with this Lip Shimmer. I am not fond of lisptick and usually wear the fabulous Burt's Bees Lip Balm (BTW there is not a better lip balm on the market in my opinion) The lip shimmer has all that I want, the lip balm itself with the nice tingle from the peppermint oil, but then it also has the lovely sheer shimmer of color as well. Nothing over the top or too much color. I first bought the rhubarb and champagne shades and loved them so much I went back to purchase another of each shade to keep in my purse. I also bought the watermelon shade at that time as well. If you're not a fan of regular lipstick and want something more soft this is it!

The color is very nice, and I'm very sure of the other shades as well. Color and shimmer is not too overpowering. With its minty tingly feeling and small size, it sure became one of my must-haves.

I gave it 4 stars because it's not exactly long-wearing but it doesn't come off easily.

I purchased my first tube of Burt's Bees Lip Shimmer in Nutmeg today at my local health food store. It is by far the best lip balm I have ever put on my mouth. It is silky smooth, and you get a nice blast of mint that tingles your lips a bit when you first apply it. And the color is fantastic! I have brown eyes and hair, and look best in warm, earthy tones. This shade suits my complexion perfectly. I can't wait to try other shades of this wonderful product!

This is a great, natural line of lip products that feel great and wear well. The color is wonderful, too. It is a tad intense, but looks great on a gal with dark hair and eyes. Go for the Watermelon shade if you want a lighter look. I especially like the peppermint oil zing.

I gave this product 5 stars because it's that good. It has all of the wonderful feel as the Burt's Original lip balm, but also a nice light shimmery pink color which comliments any mouth and the color is very light for gals that don't like to wear lip colors. Burt's bees is such a wonderful Company!

I love the Burt's Bees lip balm. It works great. Much better than chapstick! I also wanted a little bit of color with the balm and the lip shimmers are a great way to get that. They fit conveniently in your purse and work just the same as the balm. Definitely recommend!

Burt's Bees is known for their delicious pepperminty lip products. Lip Shimmer is an exceptionally moisturizing lip balm with a sheer color and it contains peppermint oil, cocoa seed butter and rosemary leaf oil. . This works as well as the lip balm to moisturize and the watermelon shade is especially natural and works well with two other products I love.

For summer color and full lips, first use the DuWop Venom Gloss "love in a mist," then use the Bare Escentuals "fig" lipstick/liner to line your lips and then fill in with Burt's Bees Watermelon Lip Shimmer. There is no heavy lipstick feel and once you try this product, I can bet you will want every shade. I have my eye on Merlot and Nutmeg for the winter.

The Watermelon shade is a summer essential you can take with you to the beach, pool or to any outdoor activity where you want to look natural, but still wear makeup, like the Bare Escentuals foundation with SPF 15 sunscreen and Mineral Veil. These products will make your skin feel natural, healthy and your skin will glow with a natural luminosity.

I realy liked the burt's bees lip shimer in Watermealen because for my fair skin, it was the perfect color. It wasn't to dark or too lite. It also had the perfect combo of color and mouster for my dry chaped lips. Thankyou burt's bees! :)

Okay I hate lipstick it's greacy grimey and tastes like I'm wearing well maybe paint thinner, but this stuff is differant it looks great, even according to my makeup concsious overly anyoying and picky friends, it tastes like lip gloss of some halfway normal origin, and well it's glossy and kissable! it does come off kinda quick like normal lipsick, it stays glossy, the colors are a bit hard to tell and well darker than I'm use to but not black by any means, overall I love it! I'd give it a 10. more colors would be nice... p.s. I'm compairing this stuff to normal lipsick revlon, clinique, more expensive and less expensive stuff... not the burt's bee's lipstick which i've yet to try!

I've been using this color for a couple of years--since I first discovered BB made color lip balm. I didn't want a lipstick, nor anything that's too expensive. But I needed something with color. I tried other colors but this one works for me. Has the nice BB tingle. I panicked with all the stores around here no longer carried Raisin, but in one of the stores there was this young lady who I think might have been the distributor and asked why I was picking up every tube, what color I was looking for. And now Raisin is back on the shelf. Anyway, I love this color. My only only only complaint is that it wipes off so easily--on my coffee cup, when I eat, when I make ugly faces. Yea, yea, yea, I want my lips permanently this color!
