5.0 out of 5 stars NEAT MOISTURIZER FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
My daughters absolutely, love to have a cap added to their "baths."

I even use it! It can get messy as with any oil product but it is really neat to have softer skin with a neat scent for those who do not care about smelling overly "perfumish" or "seseame like."

UPDATED REVIEW: Apricot Oil replaced by Nourishing Oil. Not the same product. The apricot scent is gone and now smells like children's vitamins - yuck. Also, the quality has gone down. The oil does not absorb into the skin anymore. It's just like any other greasy oil. I will be checking out other baby moisturizer. So sad - I used to love this product. I noticed...

Personally, none of us have had any "reactions, rashs, or bad," experiences.

Just remember, the tub does become a but "slick," so do take care & not slip... Oh! I recommend pouring the oil into the cap above the tub itself so if you over pour - it will just end up in your tubby:)

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful! My face feels so good and my skin is clear!, April 2, 2008

I love this baby oil for my 30 year-old dry skin. It's perfect. It sinks in within a few minutes and makes my skin look and smell great. I have very sensitive skin as well as allergies to anything chemically or perfumey. I found this when I was experimenting with gentle oils for moisturizing my face. It is by far the best I have found for that purpose. An added benefit I wasn't expecting is that my face cleared up of any blemishes I had. I can't even remember the last time I had one. Also, it's the weirdest (and best) thing...I even use this oil on my face on hot, humid summer days and my skin is less oily than before. It would be dry with a sheen of oil -probably overproduction from dryness- now my skin is just soft and really nice. I just really love this product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for dry skin, April 4, 2007
I use this oil on my baby and it doesn't leave him with that greasy film that mineral-based oils leave. It doen't smell great from the bottle but it leaves my children with a freshly clean scent. It is great on adult skin as well. Worth the $$.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for winter dry adult skin!!!, December 6, 2005
I'm 29 with no kids and I always have this on hand. It smells lovely and is so much better than regular baby oil. It goes on skin so smoothly and moisturizes like nothing else. So great for winter skin; my skin just drinks it up! Smells AMAZING!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Stuff!, April 7, 2009
[...]

I think this is the best stuff ever! There is no mineral oil. Mineral oil comes from petroleum production and your body has to remove it as a toxin. So if you have a baby and you don't want to drown him in chemicals, Apricot Baby oil is the way to go. And it smells soooo good. It is good to put on after you shave but before you dry off!

I think it is ridiculous that the shipping is as much as the product. You might as well order it from Burt's Bees website and get a free gift when you find other stuff to order. Like the Honey Butter and the Honey Lip Balm...yum!

Bah to the traditional Johnson and Johnson! I love Burt's Bees baby line and my favorite product is this oil. Its light and a wonderful golden color with a fabulous delicate apricot smell. I used it on my son's dry skin right after birth. It makes a great infant massage oil. I also love that there's no plastic in the packaging at all. Glass bottle with a good old fashioned metal cap!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for cradle cap, May 3, 2006
Used this on my son's cradle cap. Great for reducing the flakiness and is a great barrier for the inflammation. Smells wonderful and somehow less greasy than baby oil.

5.0 out of 5 stars Multi-Purpose!, September 23, 2004
In a pinch I used this on my son's diaper rash and it cleared up right away! Smells incredible. Whenever I use Baby Bee products on my son I can't stop kissing him.

I noticed that all the reviews here are the old, old reviews for the Apricot oil just by looking at the dates. My original review was posted in 2009.

OLD REVIEW: I had to write a review for the two Burt's Bees products that I use epecially after reading the negative reviews a few people gave just because the company was bought out by Clorox. I am a very choosy customer but am also a very environmental person who does not believe that Clorox deliberately bought out Burt's Bees to make it the opposite!@#?? This apricot oil is just out of this world. The scent lingers a lot longer than the Burt's Bees bodywash that I also use on baby. I HATE oils of any kind but this one just disappears after softening the skin - no greasiness. The bodywash and the apricot oil are the only two skin products I use on my baby. I have also tried their Buttermilk lotion which I returned because I found the coconut scent offensive and the texture too greasy. By the way, the apricot oil is pricey but it goes a very long way and the quality is superb.

This oil is amazing! Used either in the bath as you soak or after a shower instead of lotion...the fragrance is refreshing and the moisture will last all day!
