5.0 out of 5 stars Great soap for sensitive babies.
Our son had dandruff after we tried using Johnsons & Johnsons for the first few washings. We then switched to the California Baby brand and while it fixed the flakes, our son smelled like a 35 year old European man ready for a night at the discotheque. We couldn't find the fragrance free so we went with the Burt's Bees brand. The smell is of mild honey comb and it...

3.0 out of 5 stars amazon sends different formulas
first they sent the 96% pure formula, then they sent 99% pure in a clear bottle, which i liked better. sadly, last time they sent the 96% pure again. i thought they phased those out, but i guess not. good stuff, but the smell is way too strong and totally unnecessary. i like it but i would use another one if i could find a better one.

They changed something about the formula because the last few bottles we have purchased on Amazon have had a much thinner consistency when compared what we used to get. Still works well, we just go through more since it seems like it has been watered down.

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite Soap, Not Just For Babies, June 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo and Wash because has a delicious scent. I am a 27 year old with super sensitive skin. I grew up using bar soap, but now prefer liquid soaps, and I've tried just about everything. This is the mildest, best smelling soap I've used. I'm thrilled that the scent doesn't bother me. My skin feels better (I think my former brand of liquid soap had ingredients that were slightly irritating to me, but I am not about to switch back to them and find out. I did a google search about possibly irritating ingredients in soaps and sodium lauryl sulfate is one of them that I am now avoiding.

I recommend this to anyone (baby or adult) with sensitive skin, and I would use the fragrance free version if you're not sure about trying the scented version, although the ingredients look pretty mild: orange oil, anise oil, vanilla oil, etc. This is more cost effective than California Baby, which I also like, but I prefer this scent. I even mixed a little of Burt's Baby Bee wash into the remainder of my California Baby wash.

I also used this as a shampoo, and it left my hair feeling clean and soft.

5.0 out of 5 stars This stuff is amazing!, October 19, 2011

i love this stuff for myself. it doesnt suds up like a usual shampoo but it does an amazing job, and the smell is sensational! as a body wash a little goes a long way on a loofah, and it leaves yoru skin feeling very refreshed and clean but still moisturized.

**** Burts Bee's has changed the formula, making it more natural... but not as good as their original scent.

2.0 out of 5 stars Scent Change = Gross, April 10, 2011
This review is from: Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I am not sure why, but it seems to me that the smell of this shampoo / body wash has changed.

I LOVE Burt's Bees as a product line. They are much more affordable than other paraben and sulfate free lines, and smell more "boyish" to my nose.

However, upon buying our last bottle, I was shocked to find I no longer like the smell. I didn't see anything on the bottle about a new fragrance, and since they're sold with a stopper, I can't smell other bottles to make sure I didn't get a fluke.

Go back to the original forumla, or someone tell me I'm crazy!

2.0 out of 5 stars Hair Gets Greasy Fast, October 27, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I wanted a shampoo that didn't have a ton of chemicals and since this was on sale, I decided to get it. I use a lot more of it since it doesn't sud as much and my hair gets greasy much faster with this shampoo than all my other previous chemical-laden ones. Eh, maybe those chemicals are in there for a good reason. I will continue my search for other shampoos since I probably will not continue to buy this one. Maybe this shampoo is better off used on babies...that don't have much hair.

Sadly stings my eyes more than generic baby shampoo when used as a dilute lid scrub. Expensive soap and shampoo that smells good.

1.0 out of 5 stars BUYER BEWARE. This product is NOT "Tear Free" and irritated my child's eyes., August 9, 2011

Upon using this product as a shampoo, my toddler rubbed his eyes quite a lot during and after the bath. He became upset and wanted to get out of the bath, which he normally enjoys. Later, trying the product myself as a test-- it irritated my eyes!! This product is not "Tear Free," and will likey irritate your child's eyes. It's unconscionable that Burt's Bees are marketing this as a baby product.

This review is from: Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash, 12-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
Our daughter has eczema and senstive skin. This wash has been great ever since starting the use. It has a great scent and we have had no bad reaction at all. It cleans well and rinses well. We trust Burt's products for ourselves and they came through with this as well. It is also nice as a 2-pack because when you are done with one you can start your next shipment (I suggest subsribe and save since you will most likely end up sticking with this) and you always have the product on hand. My daughter had a dry skin issue since she was born, but I can't find the right shampoo for her skin until one of the friend we met in Hawaii. She recommended and I tried to use it on my daughter while we were there and it works great. I like the yellow better than the milky color because of the yellow has a nice fragrant and my daughter still smell so good after all day playing and after a sweaty nap too. I've the milky color but it doesn't have any smell, but it is 99.6% natural rather than the yellow is only 96.8%. If u like the fragrant then i would recommend to yellow type which I love love love :).
