When I find a brand I like, I usually try it across the line but with Burt's Bees products, I find that I like some more than others. That being said, this is a great product from Burt's Bees. I used this along with 2 other oils while I was pregnant 3 times a day AND GOT NO STRETCH MARKS! My mother got stretch marks but after giving birth, all I have is the vertical...

1.0 out of 5 stars Problematic formula
Ordered to rub into a large surgical scar. This particular formula is Vitamin E with other additives...I ended up developing a rash wherever it was applied. Stopped using and it went away quickly. It smelled nice but the bottle leaks easily and residue from the oil gathers quickly making the bottle difficult to keep clean.

5.0 out of 5 stars A happy customer, March 8, 2010

When I find a brand I like, I usually try it across the line but with Burt's Bees products, I find that I like some more than others. That being said, this is a great product from Burt's Bees. I used this along with 2 other oils while I was pregnant 3 times a day AND GOT NO STRETCH MARKS! My mother got stretch marks but after giving birth, all I have is the vertical dark line down my belly and that's it! I love the lemony scent too~ It's basically the same thing as the lemon oil and vitamin e with a new label slapped on it so either will do the trick!

I was concerned that I would not like the smell (not usually a a big fan of citrus) but it is light and fades quickly. The oil moisturizes well (takes a few minutes to soak in) and I like that it's natural. I was afraid it would make me break out and my skin actually looks better than ever, and so far no stretch marks on my growing belly (but I do alternate products on there). So far I haven't stained anything either, which was another original concern of mine. One bottle did leak in transit, though, so beware.

5.0 out of 5 stars Moisturize skin, reduces the look of dark circles., October 31, 2010

This review is from: Burt's Bees Mama Bee Body Oil with Vitamin E, 4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I purchased this product because of an article i read about how using vitamin e oil would help prevent wrinkles around the eyes when you get older. While i don't know if it will do that until many more years, i do know that it has really done a wonder on my skin. It's made my skin soft and even seemed to reduce the appearance of a scar on my leg. It also seems to have reduced the dark circles under my eyes. That's if i remember to put it on every night before i go to bed. It's even worked for my mom who has a rough spot on her elbow, it's been there for a year or so but when she put vitamin e oil on it every night, it reduced and now you can barely tell there was anything there.

I got this product after I noticed I had gotten stretch marks due to my chest growing so fast my first 2 months of pregnancy. I have only been using this for about a month and my stretch marks are almost all gone! I love this stuff and will continue to use it throughout my pregnancy. Would highly recommend this product! Also smells great and my skin is softer than ever!

This is a nice product, but I still have stretch marks :-(. I like the way it feels going on. It also has a nice smell to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE, December 27, 2011
This review is from: Burt's Bees Mama Bee Body Oil with Vitamin E, 4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
This is one of the best products I bought throughout my pregnancy. It didn't leave me sticky like lotion would, and it helped me to get NO stretch marks. I bought the baby oil for my girl when she was born, too!

5.0 out of 5 stars Smells great, doesn't stain, December 12, 2011
This review is from: Burt's Bees Mama Bee Body Oil with Vitamin E, 4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I received this as an early baby shower gift and so far I really like it. The scent is a bit strong and smells just like honey lemon tea, which I love, but if you have a sensitive nose this oil might not be a good choice for you! I've been putting it on every morning after I get out of the shower and then again before I go to bed. I somehow doubt it's going to actually prevent stretchmarks, but it does do a great job of keeping my skin feeling supple and soft. I also like that I can put on clothes less than five minutes after applying the stuff without having to worry about it getting on anything or staining. I will update this review after my pregnancy is over to say how helpful it was on the stretchmark front :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great multi-purpose moisturizer, July 13, 2011

This review is from: Burt's Bees Mama Bee Body Oil with Vitamin E, 4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I bought this oil for rubbing on my pregnant belly at night but I also use it for moisturizing & massage on my arms & legs. It's light (not gunky like some belly balms) so it spreads easily. The smell is light & lemony- not noxious at all to a pregnant woman in her first trimester (I was nauseous all day long & most smells were too much). It was oily, but did not mess up my clothing - just wear an under layer like a tank top or belly band if you don't want it to rub off on the underside of your clothing. I used it daily and didn't get stretch marks until 35 weeks (with twins!) and it staved off the third-trimester itchy skin.

Great natural product for a good price!

I tried using Palmers tummy butter because i couldnt stand the cocoa butter smell. It broke me out in a HORRIBLE rash. I found this and ordered it because it was vitamin e. It is an AMAZING PRODUCT!!! I have no stretch marks and my skin is softer than ever. I use it before bed and it doesnt stay oily long it doesnt make your clothes stick to you. The smell is wonderful as well i will definitely use this long after little one is here. Smells like lemon drops!

I would HIGHLY reccomend this product and I have very sensitive skin.

5.0 out of 5 stars Smells Great, Works Great, November 18, 2010

This review is from: Burt's Bees Mama Bee Body Oil with Vitamin E, 4-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2) (Health and Beauty)
I actually received this package two days before the ETA delivery date, which was awesome, and secondly this product is working really well for my eczema. I have tried everything I can think of with over the counter products, Aquaphor, Cortizone 10, Lubriderm, Nuclear Holocaust, wait... but yeah. I got it last night and it's already working great, my Eczema is already starting to subside greatly.

A few things I like about this product:

1. It's not greasy like moisturizers you buy in the store, especially petroleum-based ones.
2. It smells like lemon candy, although some man may not like that, I think its great.
3. It keeps you moisturized longer than any over the counter product I have been trying.
3. It heals, it's all natural, and it doesn't sting my skin when I put it on like everything else out there.

Buy it now if you have dry skin or eczema, it will work. Just be persistent and apply every 3-4 hours depending on the dryness/severity of your rash.

It's great for moisturizing too, I used it after I shaved last night and it worked really well. Gotta love natural products, they are full of so much win. I don't think I'll ever go back to those artificial factory gasoline products with names of weird ingredients I can't pronounce, nature does its job better 99.99% of the time, no need for artificiality, we have to much of that in our culture anyway, get back to the land people!
