Pretty good song. Carly sounds very much like Amy Lee only a little harder edged. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album. If you like Evanescence's "Fallen" album, you'll like this...

This song would be so much better if Amy Lee were singing. What should happen is Evanescence get back all the original members. No one can replace the two people who began Evanescence in the first place. I just want the original band back. Until that happens, that magic that made me a fan of Evanescence, I'll never hear again.

This song is cool if you don't think of the other band members as being from Evanescence. It's cool for what it is and I'm sure the full album will be cool musically but it will be missing Amy. I'll probably get both albums but it just won't be the same.

And I'm not saying this song is bad or the album will be bad. I just really miss the masterpieces that Evanescence have made since the beginning. But please go ahead and enjoy this song and the album when it releases.

I'm giving this 5 stars because it is good, from the song Bury Me Alive. I never said it wasn't good.

These other reviews are very misleading about this band. Brian Moody needs to get over it and leave Evanescence in the past. Time to start your own path and be your own person. I wouldn't be so inclined to say this (since he was a co-founder of Evanescence) but to recruit a singer who try's to sound just like Amy Lee, pretty sad. I am sure a bunch of Evanescence fans will buy this but it is the most unoriginal band to come out since Nickleback. Amy Lee is an amazing singer, writer and entertainer and her work in Evanescence can not be touched. Brian should have went his own path after his departure, this just sounds like he's trying to reclaim his fame with a copycat band. Avoid this and wait for the new Evanescence album due out later this year.
