This item looks nice assembled, but that may take sometime. The instructions are very well written and easy to understand, but have an 11 page process (not including the double print of pages 1 and 2).

Item is made of MDF with a "Bing Cherry" laminate. The top board where the TV sits, is made of a stronger wood, and the hinges included for the front doors are very strong, and nice quality. Back panel is a cardboard laminate seen in most DIY furniture units.

Overall the tv stand did what we wanted it to. It was relatively easy to put together; perfectly organized what was once a congested mess of wires and electronics; and pulled the room together with almost the exact product measurements we were looking for. In addition, it was cheap and arrived in less than a week. There are some major drawbacks however, even understanding that you are buying a cheap put-it-together-yourself product. First, and most importantly, the color of the stand is NOT bing cherry. It is walnut. The 1970s bad kind. Strongly considered returning it because of this, but the return process is SUCH a hassle that it wasn't worth it for something that will only last a couple years anyway. Like all of these types of products it is also a wood "finish" on what is essentially particle board. This "finish" is basically a large sticker on the top piece and it is already peeling in places. So, it is fine if you know what you're getting, which is why it gets 3 stars instead of 1 or 2.

This stand is very nice quality. It is a very good quality wood and durable. The only issue we experienced was that it took a while to put together due to the large number of little pieces. I would highly recommend this product.
