The bookshelf arrived quickly and looked just as nice as I thought it would. It was not too difficult assemble, especially with a power screw driver. Once I was done, I noticed that a shelf had become damaged in the process (my fault). I called Bush Furniture and they sent me a new one, no questions asked and free of charge, that arrived the same week. Haven't dealt with a company like that in awhile.

If you fill it with books like I did, the shelves will start to sag in less than a year.

Since this is a veneer, it's easy to scratch, so be gentle when putting it together.

Assembly is no problem -- Very easy to put together, but then again, there are no doors, bells or whistles on this. Check the supplies as soon as you unpack, and contact Bush if anything is missing -- I have rarely ever had problems with missing items and I have a slew of Bush products gracing my humble abode.

I pay special attention to the backboard -- so hammering in a few more extra nails during assembly helps because with humidity and repeated use (like slamming a book back onto the shelf and against the backboard) it will tend to loosen or bow out.

Cleans nicely with your usual spray polish, and one suggestion I want to pass on is to anchor it to the wall studs at the top just in case someone has a tendency to put the heavier books on the top shelves. (They should go on the bottom shelf)
