4.0 out of 5 stars Bush Furniture Collection Audio Cabinet
I like it, except there was slight damage in the delivery. I was able to overcome it and still assemble the piece so you cannot see the damage. Also, the door (despite my several attempts to adjust) just doesn't meet up withe cabinet the way I'd like.

1.0 out of 5 stars Shaky Stand, Broken Useless Door
The product arrived, and took me about an hour to finally assemble.

Problems:

1. The stand itself is a bit shaky, and can only take 50lbs of weight per shelf. My Onkyo 805 receiver is 61 lbs.. I placed it on the lowest level, and crossing my finger that it works

2. With the receiver inside, the door won't close.. (problem to many,...

(problem to many, but not to me because...)

3. The door was completely broken when it arrived. The frame separated from the glass. i had to buy glue and glue the two together myself. After 2 more hours of doing that, and fiddling with it, i gave up and threw the door away. Now i have an open cabinet, with the receiver sticking out.

4. Complicated to assemble. probably the most annoying assembly i've ever done with respect to furniture.

Positives:
1. doesn't look too bad. without the door it's still useable.

Sorry Bush.. the quality control is not acceptable.

3.0 out of 5 stars good cabinet, February 27, 2008

this cabinet takes a little while to assemble, but in the end is a very good-looking piece of furniture and is very sturdy. The assembly was a little cumbersome, but everything is very well labeled and all parts necessary are included (except a phillips screwdriver). One of my side trim pieces was broken right out of the box, but after making one call to the Bush customer service center, I was sent a replacement free of charge (arrived two days later).

The cabinet is adequately sized, but there are a lot of home theater system receivers and dvd players that might have a tough time fitting in here- check dimensions first. My Denon receiver fits inside, but barely (the master volume knob almost hits the glass. Also, I had to cut a much bigger hole in the back panel to accommodate all my wires, but again, that's only a minor inconvenience.

All things considered, a good auido stand for the money.

3.0 out of 5 stars damaged during shipping, July 24, 2010

The product is of reasonable quality and not too difficult to assemble, considering the price.

I had it shipped to arrive in 2 days, so that it could be assembled prior to a birthday. It arrived in time, but 3 pieces were damaged and had to be replaced. They were replaced without charge, but did not arrive for another week, so the extra shipping charges were a waste.

When they replacements did arrive, one of them was also damaged, but in a place that was not easily visible, so I assembled it anyway.

Quality control seems to be an issue......

1.0 out of 5 stars Wobbly (Nice-Looking) Piece of Junk, June 2, 2011

Unsteady even with metal braces installed! Spend an extra $50 and get something that won't take all day to assemble. Impossible to keep from swaying side to side without breaking out the drill and woodsaw. Too bad because it looks great. :-/

I read this about the cabinet in other reviews. Minor nicks and scatches were in three different spots. I did not contact Bush for replacement parts because installation of my home theater was happening three days later and there would be no time to receive them. The overall quality of the wood, glass and hardware was excellent for the price. My recommendation would be to order the cabinet well ahead of time, inspect everypiece the day the cabinet arrives and contact Bush for replacement parts as necessary. We are happy with the overall cabinet and just used a sharpie marker to "fill-in" the scratches.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay product, August 29, 2011

I was looking for an tower cabinet for all my electronic equipments and I bought this cabinet. Overall it does the job I bought it for but the main problem I find it with this cabinet is that it is not sturdy. I have installed as per the instructions given and still the cabinet sways easily side ways. There's not enough reinforcement to make it strong.

Other minor stuff are:

- they could have provided much harder back cover
- the door does not fit properly after adjustments (possibly my mistake or the piece is not properly cut)

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Looking. But the wood is very deligate, August 8, 2011

I bought this cabinet for my home usage. I received the package on-time from Amazon. I took approx 2.5 hours to fix the complete cabinet with 2 people. It is not very difficult to assembly, but time consuming. I felt that the wood is very deligate. while fixing the back board with nails, the wood frame got broke. I was doing very carefully, still it broke. The bottom part also broke while screwing one of the part as per the directions in the manual.

Look and feel of the cabinet is good. Color is good and shining one. But take care while assemblying.

5.0 out of 5 stars Over all good, for the price, great!, January 19, 2012

I am very happy with this piece of furniture. The MDF is solid, the finish is nice, and the hardware is pretty good. It's hard to find solid media cabinets of this size anywhere near this price. I visited several furniture stores and the closest comparable products are in the $750-$1,000 price range. Granted those were made of real wood. However, even being made of real wood the other furniture was not worth three to four times the price to me.

This was pretty easy to put together. The instructions were not perfect, but they were clear and easy to follow. This uses the typical "put it together yourself" methods. All of the pre-drilled holes were exactly where they needed to be. Only one part didn't fit perfectly and has a small gap. Most of the parts were labeled. The few parts that were not labeled were obvious which part they were. The hardware was packaged and labeled well.

There were two minor dings/scratches on the pieces out of the box. Neither marks were places where they will be noticeable. This was very well packaged for a large and heavy box. It survived UPS shipping and being dropped on my sidewalk in the rain very well. I am not happy with UPS for the delivery.

In all this is great piece of furniture for the price. If this suites your needs and you can competently turn a screw driver following simple picture instructions, get it.
