About the Author
Richard B Wickliffe was born in Evergreen Louisiana on Jan. 31, 1926. One year before the great flood of 1927, there was many deaths and destructions. He was the 8th child of the 13 children his father was a strict farmer and preacher. Richard grew up as a hard worker and gave his best even up to this day; 1944 after many days of back breaking farm work, he got a deferment from the military to help build battle ships in Los Angeles California. 1946, he worked for Decca record co. and played saxophone as a side line, but the job close down and the only job he could find was at the General Hospital kitchen, 1949 it was like working on a chain gang. 1952 he was draft into the Korean war but they sent him to Berlin Germany and serve behind the iron curtain for 18 months. Richard also pull guard duty at the infamous Rudolf Hess Jail.
