I prefer a 12x bino and these are great value and excellent clarity. The 42 barrel means it is not too large and bulky. Highly recommend them. Great price and a great product. Not too heavy. Feel great in the hand. Good focusing wheel. The case is not great, but then apart from packing most of the time I would have them around my neck, so no big deal. Very pleased with the purchase.

Bought these binoculars for my husband. He loves them. They are very powerful and he loves the way they feel - not too heavy. He can look at stuff across the creek and is amazed at the clarity in the things that he sees.

This are perfect binoculars for my needs. I keep them in my camper. Being water proof and having the rubber coating protects them from the elements and rough use when I am out in the woods. I highly recommend these to anyone.

It's a good quality bino. The only bad thing in it is a slight purple chromatic aberration on a white background. But as a value, it's great for its price. I used it in the bush of the Amazon in Colombia last week and I enjoyed watching the colorful amazing birds with it.

Maybe it's me but I have some difficulty achieving focus in both barrels, indicative of either prism misalignment or I have a growing astigmatism problem. Nonetheless, the views when at least in close alignment are center sharp, easily focused, depth of field is short. I like the screw-out ocular covers, a nice touch and quite helpful. Eye relief is barely on the comfortable side but at the adequate mark. Optics appear to be nicely multi-coated with no streaks or undercoating visible. Lightweight enough for hand held observation though pushing it at 12x. Best to lean against something or have a rest bar if doing extensive scanning. Rubber armor covering is great to grip, unit feels durable and tough. Overall, a good product well within the expectations of the price range.

I bought these for watching boat/kayak racing around where I live. I could not be happier. The area I live in can get quite foggy with temperatures changing quite dramatically in just a small amount of time. I can watch the action and not be worried about damaging the binocular. I have dropped it twice in the water and am very happy that I bought a waterproof pair.

Now, I'm no expert but I wanted to have some binoculars that were good for the field. These have worked great for me so far! Definitely waterproof and fogproof as far as I can tell! Bushnell makes some great products.

Bought these for around the farm. Ended up taking them to the beach with me all summer - they were great for watching porpoises off shore, ships and buoys way out in the water. These were easy for the kids to use as well.

These are really great 12:42's. The Eye piece plastic as opposed to the typical rubber is Not so good. The focus is excellent and the range is great. But keeping the eye pieces adjusted is a pain. I do not mean the optics. They adjust perfectly. It's those silly plastic twist things I would expect to lock into place. Perhaps I just got a bad set. It is Amazon, afterall. So, there you go. As with ALL Amazon orders (or ANY mail order item) - Check out the purchase BEFORE accepting. The picture offered with the angled eye pieces are not NOT what I got.
