good but could be much better,

These binoculars are great for the price. The optics are good and the feel and weight are great. The only problem is that the focus wheel has some play in it that makes one feel something is broken. It is the design of the wheel and that is unsettling until one gets use to it. Otherwise the costs of these is very appealing relative to the three times more expensive Zeiss and other brands. So overall a good purchase for a budget minded person.

Love these binoculars. Purchased them especially for this summer as I am spending a lot of time in Alaska and wanted good viewing of the abundant wildlife. They are light weight, offer a good wide field of vision, the focus is easy to use, and have a great grip. I would highly recommend them.
