Great Rangefinder,

This review is from: Bushnell BowHunter "Chuck Adams" Edition Laser Rangefinder (Bow Mode) (Sports)
I bought this rangefinder in Nov 2010, because I am horrible at guessing how far a shot is with the bow, which is what exactly the Bushnell BowHunter "Chuck Adams" Laser Rangefinder did for me. It not only gives you what the yardage is but what the actually yardage is due to your angle of the shot which is not always the same. The ARC feature works amazingly. I used it for the first time this archery season and bagged a nice 8-point buck at 30 yards, which looked like 45 yards from 30 ft up in my treestand. If it were not for the Bushnell BowHunter "Chuck Adams" Laser Rangefinder, I probably would have missed the trophy buck. It worked for me in all types of lighting and weather. I will definitely never go bow hunting without rangefinder.

compared to my old rangefinder this ones readings come back extremly fast and accurate, uphill and downhill. it is also very easy to find and use the range button. the only draw back it the view finding window is narrow compared to the nikon; however this one is at least $100 less than the nikon. over all great value and performance.

Bushnell Did it RIGHT!,

I purchased the WildGame archery rangefinder for $150 and found it to be just as much a let-down as the reviewers commented on their predecessor rangefinder. I returned it and purchased the Bushnell BowHunter "Chuck Adams" and am completely pleased! This rangefinder has ARC for archery out to 100 yards, and non-ARC for rifle out to 800 or so yards, without having to mess with different modes or two seperate devices to handle the task. Awesome design and great reputation for quality, and I'll attest as one more VERY SATISFIED customer.

I ordered the Chuck Adams edition laser range finder with the intention of using it for my annual blacktail deer hunting trip. I thought the angle compensation feature would be helpful should I decide to use a tree stand. The range finder produced an accurate range when it worked and there is the problem. It only worked half of the time! For some unknown reason, it would just not show a range when I pressed the button more than 50% of the time. It did'nt seem to matter what the background or environment was; sunny, shade, windy, still, even highly reflective signs. I work and help raise two children; I don't have a lot of leisure time and my hunting trips are few and far between. When I go hunting, I need a product that does what it is supposed to do. I returned it and am awaiting my refund.

I really like this range finder ! It's camo is nice. The shot-angle compensator is a sharp feature especially if you are in a tree stand. I have used this for two seasons without any problems.

Got at Christmas last year for a gift. It works great but you really need a clean line of site with out any obstructions to get accurate readings.

This rangefinder is just right for me. ID technology for bowhunting and straight range finder for gun hunting. ID tech is needed hunting from tree stand and I don't need it when gun hunting. Rarely take a shot over 100 yards and even between 0 and 200 yards a 30/06 only has a 2 inch arc so no big deal. Price is right also.
