These high-performance, rubber-armored waterproof and fogproof binoculars combine styling with durability, meeting the viewing needs of serious outdoor enthusiasts for hunting, nature study, birding, spectator sports, and sightseeing. The model delivers a wide field of view, 340 feet with the 10 x 42, capturing all the action.

Maximum light transmission is achieved by fully multi-coating all air-to-glass surfaces. BaK4 prisms provide clear images with no vignetting. PC-3 phase-coating dramatically improves resolution and contrast by correcting the light phase shift inherent in roof prism binoculars. A long eye relief of 15 millimeters, combined with twist-up eyecups, make the Excursions ideal for eyeglass wearers. The six-foot close focus will appeal to birders and naturalists.

My husband is a hunter and he specifically requested these particular binoculars. And he has had absolutely no complaints and uses them whenever he hunts either deer, doves, hogs, rabbits or other critters.

...unless you want to have trouble focusing, have difficulty using them indoors at a sporting event, or have the neck strap bracket break off, etc. I wear glasses and these never did focus well for me. I was not happy when the bracket broke off the day I received them, just as I was to leave for an Africa safari vacation. The biocs kept slipping off my neck the whole trip, and it was frustrating.

Even more frustrating was trying to get them repaired. Suposedly there is a warranty on these. Hah! When I sent them to Bushnell for repair, they wanted [...].
