Product Description

With an industry-best 95% light transmission across 300% more of the visible light spectrum, backed by a rigorous recoil testing process that ensures reliability, plus the anti-fog protection of RainGuard HD, the benefits of owning an Elite Riflescope are undeniable. But it's not about how it looks on paper. It's how it shines at last light when the buck of a lifetime steps into a clearing. On the top of a mountain with a goat in your crosshairs after a week of harsh treatment. When your canoe flips and a lesser riflescope would be rendered useless. We don't make advancements for advancements sake. We engineer the finest in the world of experience to magnify yours for life! The Elite Riflescope features magnum recoil proof construction one-piece aluminum tube. It is 100% waterproof, fog proof and shockproof. 1/4 MOA audible/resettable windage and elevation adjustment fast-focus eyepiece. Developed by Bushnell(R) engineers for the lowest-light hunting situations, the patented FireFly(TM) reticle illuminates the crosshairs after only a quick 10-second flashlight charge. Unlike battery powered reticles, which often fail at the absolute worst times, the FireFly will glow green and you'll see your crosshairs against your quarry. Comes with the Elite(R) Lifetime limited warranty.

I love this scope. I have a Bushnell Banner 3-9 on my Savage ML-10 and have been very successful with it over the years, even in poor light. So I decided to try this scope on my new 375 H&H magnum. It sighted in very easily and holds zero. (I used a S&K mount and rings.) I can hit a dime easy at 100 yards with this scope. I also like the fast focus on this scope. It is very easy to change when switching distances and stays in place even under heavy recoil. I just purchased another one to re-scope my Model 99 300 Savage. I have tried more expensive scopes, but I actually seem to see and shoot better with the Bushnell. Go figure. Waiting for deer season to see how it performs in the field in low light.

I'm updating this review to let you know that this scope helped me get a hog and a deer that I believe I wouldn't have shot without this scope. Both were shot in very low light conditions. In Florida we are allowed to shoot half an hour after sunset. I think this scope gave me just (barely) enough light gathering capability to make a shot without gambling on just wounding the animal. Both were dropped in their tracks. This scope has kept its zero with no problems. I transport my weapons in a hard case because of the extremely poor "road" conditions, but place it on the passenger side once on the hunting property. Hope this review helps.

It's a keeper. It's BIG though. Next one will be the Elite 3-9x40mm Firefly, which I think is a better size for hunting.
