About Roof Prism Binoculars:
The prism system of a binocular reduces the size needed to contain a long optical path and turns what would be an upside-down image right-side-up. In roof prism binoculars, the prisms overlap closely, allowing the objective lenses to line up directly with the eyepiece. I've had no problems with these binoculars whatsoever. Once the lenses are adjusted to each eye (all decent binoculars have this feature, a lot of people overlook it) the views are outstanding and crystal clear with excellent brightness. The rain/fogproof claim is a good one, I've taken them through heavey snow and rain and they've performed great.

This is exactly what I wanted. Lightweight, easy to use, sharp focus and compact. I haven't used it in the rain and hopefully I won't have to but it's good to have that option. I bought these as for travel when space is at a premium and they fit that bill well.
