I purchased this digital binocular over five years ago and love it. Takes great pictures and mini videos. Make sure to remove batteries when not in use because it can accidentally turn on when in case which results in dead batteries. Also has a tendancy to shut off if you aren't taking pictures so check before next shot. Otherwise its a 5 star product. Great item for a great price ! Wish Bushnell would come out with a waterproof -fogproof digital camera model.

I ordered the bushnell binocular and found it to be very satisfactory. All adjustments are easy and the pictures come out very clear and sharp. It has features not shown in the product description such as a tripod mount and a remote shutter release for the camera. They both come in very handy for some subjects of viewing. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend (and already have)

I purchased this piece of junk as a gift for my wife who is a birder. I should have believed the other negative reviews. The picture quality is laughable. It's worst than the first cell phone cameras. Pictures are either overexposed and washed out or too dark if the lighting isn't perfect. You better have rock steady hands because the shutter speed is super slow and a tripod is a necessity even in the best lightning conditions. Even when set to the highest resolution, the pictures appear to be a very low resolution. Bushnell advertises "2.1MP for sharp, clear images". This is false advertising. Picture quality is poor and colors are faded even when used with a tripod in the best lighting. This camera binocular is simply a low quality toy. Don't waste you money. I bought these because of the Bushnell name. I thought they must be quality. I'll never trust Bushnell again and I'll never buy another Bushnell item. Bushnell should pull these off the market and offer to give customers a full refund. We are currently in the market for a high quality spotting scope and you can believe it won't be a Bushnell.

I purchased this item approximately a month and a half ago. Upon receiving it I discovered that the item was very hard to program, next to impossible, would not link to my computer for downloads of picture etc. I sent the item back to the sender requesting a refund of my purchase price and they sent me another new 8x30 binocular. if you actually would like to use the camera. I purchased this item directly from Amazon as "Used-very good". Silly me. I received it promptly, decently or appropriately packaged but that's about it. Received the unit and it's carrying case. No user guide and no software, which of course seems impossible to find anywhere online. Software is important on this item because that seems to be the only way to set it up: image size, save location, date, & other preferences, etc. Lucky thing, I bought a 2MB disk to save images too, oh, wait a minute, camera seems to be saving images internally & removing disk seems to wipe test images, even when unit is turned off. Plugging USB connector results in drive errors, both on mac & PC. Good thing Amazon cust svc is there to save the day. Got my RMA, they'll "allow me" to return it & I may get my refund in 4 weeks. SUPER!

Point - do not bother with Amazon used items. They do not test them for whether the item functions accordingly & do not provide a listing of what is included. You are MUCH better off taking your chances on eBay. Needless to say, I am very disappointed in Amazon's cust svc as well. Calling Cust SVc connects you to a non-US based rep the majority of the time & the language barriers only add to the frustration. Wouldn't it be nice to have relevant reps for the country from which a customer is calling to lessen communication problems. Oh wait, a company the size of Amazon wouldn't be able to afford that to service their customers.

Bushnell. That is all the review that is really necessary. When you go with the leading binocular company, quality is built in.
