This review is from: Bushnell ImageView 15-45x50mm VGA Resolution Spotting Scope (Electronics)
The camera is a complete waste of money. I wish I had scene one in person before I purchased online because I made a bad assumption that the camera used the spotting scopes lenses, it does not. The camera is just a low quality digital camera glued onto a good spotting scope. I mostly use the scope at the range to see how I'm hitting the targets at 50 yards and at that range the camera does not have enough detail to discern the bullet holes. Also the camera is tilted, when the scope is level and sighted dead on the images are tilted about 15 degrees. One last thing about the camera to note is that if the batteries die you loose all your images.
The scope itself is great and I would recommend a version without the camera in a second because its well constructed and gives a nice clear view of my targets but because of the price with the camera I would tell you to pass on this one.
If it was just the spotting scope I'd give it a 4 or 5 but paying the extra price for a useless camera makes it a 2

3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Scope,, May 13, 2007

The scope is excellent but the pictures are disappointing (much smaller optics). Even in good, bright sunlight the pictures are grainy (640 x 480) and dim. I haven't used it enought to rate the batteries (two pictures was enough for me to tell that I wasn't going to bother with the camera any more). Both the hard and soft case are quality items and are nice to have. The tripod is well constructed and has fine adjustment knobs for zeroing in on your target. This item would definately be a 5 if it wasn't for the crummy camera.
