I have compared many binoculars before purchasing this pair and have no regrets what-so-ever. They are a great all-purpose binocular. The 7x magnification along with a larger 50mm aperture gives a very clear image, even indoors.
I regularly take them to hockey games and the wider field-of-view keeps the action in your sight.
The perma-focus keeps images sharp. Remember that they are set assuming you are looking through with at least almost 20/20 vision so you can not use them without corrective lenses.

I have only just recieved these and am totally blown away with how great they are. Tested just before dusk and everything i looked at was amazingly sharp and clear. Just move to each new thing and it's instantly in sharp focus. I love the size and feel of them and can't wait to to use them for nature watching and any sports games that i go to.

I guess I should have read the fine print more carefully. These binoculars have no focusing ability whatsoever. To be fair, they are (somewhat) in focus at considerable distance to infinity, but I can't adjust them to my particular vision (so they're never exactly in focus for me at any distance), and they're of no use at closer distances. I should have bought the Nikon version.

I have purchased over ten of these in the past ten years, they get heavy duty use and they have all been great. I used four of them for hunting and two for boating. Two of them over the years have gotten a little out of focus. Sent them back to manufacture and they sent me brand new ones no questions asked. I loan them out to friends and they love them. I give them as gifts to friends and customers. The best. About to buy another set for a friend for birthday. Great quality for price.

The Bushnell Perma Focus 7x50 Wide Angle Binoculars were the ideal choice for my recent trip to Tanzania and the Serengeti. They worked perfectly for the application needed. A really happy surprise on just how well these worked. As we bounced around on dirt roads and cross country in Land Rovers, the Perma Focus feature was outstanding and made things simple and easy! :-) The magnification level was perfect for almost every scenario we came across. Anything that was outside of about 80 feet came through in crystal clear vivid color and clarity. It really made for up close and personal viewing of all the animals we saw. By far, these were the best investment I made before the trip! I can't imagine being without them now on such an expedition. Really fantastic performance and a great value to boot!!!! The vendor was fast & flawless in the transaction too. In my opinion you won't be disappointed with these binoculars. Troy :-)

I bought these for my father who likes to watch animals in the wild. He loved them and the clarity. Just from the roadside he will spot deer, fox etc....and enjoys them very much

Great binoculars! Very easy to use,,,,,,,, clear and bright! You will be amazed at the quality!

Excellent, solidly built binos with limitations. Light gathering ability is great with the 50mm aperature! Simply put, the binos will not improve your eyesight. If you have 20/20 eyesight, the binos work perfectly whether you are looking at objects near or far. If you wear glasses for distance viewing, you will need to wear glasses when using the binos and looking at distant objects - same rules apply for objects that are closer. In my case, I remove my eyeglasses to see close-in objects and when I want to view distant objects, I use my glasses with the binos. I use these for watching events as well as birding and recommend them to anyone.
