Product Description

From the Manufacturer

Travelers, nature observers and concert goers take note: The PowerView series offers the largest line of Bushnell quality, affordable binoculars. No matter what your purpose, you'll find a variety of magnifications, styles and sizes, and fully coated optics for bright, vivid images. Standard-size models feature Insta-Focus for fast and easy focus on moving targets.

The porro prism line-up provides great durability and performance in an attractive "traditional" porro prism design. Compact to full-sized, the contemporary styling houses fully coated optics. Suffice to say, images are crisp, clear and bright - even in low light. Affordable for any and all interested in magnifying life to its fullest.

Specifications for this Bushnell binocular include:

  • Magnification: 9-27x
  • Objective lens: 25mm
  • Field of view at 1,000 yards: 170 feet at 9x, 95 feet 27x

Tech Talk
Objective Lens: The diameter of the objective or front lens. The larger the objective lens, the more light that enters the binocular, and the brighter the image.

Field of View (F.O.V.): The side-to-side measurement of the circular viewing field or subject area. It is defined by the width in feet or meters of the area visible at 1000 yards or meters. A wide angle binocular features a wide field of view and is better for following action. Generally, the higher the magnification, the narrower the field of view.

Porro Prism System: In porro prism binoculars the objective or front lens is offset from the eyepiece. Porro prism binoculars provide greater depth perception and generally offer a wider field of view.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Combination of Features, June 8, 2001
    By A Customer
This binocular is inexpensive, fairly compact, has insta-focus, and most importantly...it has a zoom! You can go from 7X magnification to 15X magnification, which is perfect from anything to a wide view to getting really really close. Great construction and durability, I am really pleased with it.

Excellent portable binoculars for sporting events at low 9X power and for stationary objects at the 27X power. At 27X power the picture does get dim and it is hard to keep hands steady on object but with binoculars this compact you would expect such. Was able to view people's faces and emotions across the Detroit Tiger's baseball field. Was able to watch Red Bull Air Race planes wiz by at 200+ MPH on the Detroit river and occasionally zoom in to see what Canada was up to on their side of the river during non-race moments. Very useful binoculars for many occasions and they are small enough that you will have them with you when needed.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Hunter, July 30, 2007
Best binoculars for the money. They are semi compact, not to big & not to small. The quick adjust is great & the variable power is an added bonus. I have already recommended these to some other hunters I know & would recommend them to anyone.
