I got these binoculars a couple of years ago as a Christmas gift from my grandfather for Christmas a couple of years ago and time and again they have been a joy to use. Last time I used it extensivly was during my 8th grade D.C. field trip where I used this to get a clear view inside the Whitehouse while still in the park area (about 400 or 500 yards away) just to give you an idea of how powerful this thing is. Its ease of use is magnificant too especially with its one touch focus system which takes the hassle out turning a knob constantly to get the right focus like other binoculars but instead with one touch on the control you can get the exact focus. This thing also is has comfortable eye rests that makes viewing in them comfortable to the skin around your eyes instead of a skin agitation like some other binoculars. Overall this binocular is powerful, convienant, and comfortable to use is the most anyone can ask for binoculars. So buy these and take these anywhere, the city, nature sites and use them for viewing pleasure like me and my classmates enjoyed during out D.C. trip.

These binoculars are the first larger 'non-compact' pair I've owned and I'm VERY happy with them. They proved to be the perfect choice for our vacation to UT, AZ, NM this summer; sturdy, comfortable, relatively lightweight, fairly compact, and really powerful. They have a good crisp focusing ability and not too tight of a field of vision. Not quite the "wide angle" I naively assumed they'd have, but still a comfortably expansive view and way better than compact binoculars in that sense. Just right for checking out the wildlife and scenery. I was really surprised at how fun it was to look at the night sky while camping. Granted, we live in San Francisco and I was convinced stars were a myth... but never mind that. It was a moonless sky, but these binoculars literally add 100X more stars to what you're able to see with the naked eye. Very cool! Now if I can just get rid of the crick in my neck. My only complaint is that the soft carrying case is kind've cheap and I wish it came with a nicer hard case. If you're looking for a versatile/everyday type of binocular this is a good choice.

After much research, I decided to go with these binoculars. I was not dissapointed. I basically use them for the hockey games I go to, and they work really well. The only thing I had difficulty with was putting the strap on the binoculars. They came with a plastic neck strap that had to be threaded through a loop on the top of the binoculars and then secured with a button like device. It was very difficult to attach the strap, but that might have just been an issue I had. Overall, I highly reccomend the product as it is a very good value for the price.

I bought the Bushnell Powerview as "USED", however it was delivered NEW and in the box. The value and utility of the binocular has in fact exceeded my own expectations in clarity and functionality.
I Recommend the Bushnell Powerview as an excellent Entry Level Binoculars.

I bought this binoculars to view sporting events where a wide field of view is helpful. The Bushnell's fill that role at a low cost. As always, you get what you pay for. The cheap carrying strap would not thread through the slots on the binoculars because it was too wide. Not that I cared much anyway, as it was the cheesiest strap I've ever seen. Tossed it in the waste basket. But, to my untrained eye, the view from the Bushnell is fine for my needs. And the cost was so low, if I leave them by mistake in the bleachers, well, who cares?

The optics are indeed very nicely coated and it produces excellent brightness and deep contrast..no haze. The eyepiece arms are plastic but they seem to be composite, so they are quite stable. I originally said the fast focuser doesn't get to the sharpest image, but I have since figured out a trick: there is practically no left/right wobble of the eyepieces, so you can press the binocs. a little against your eyebrows or glasses, and that gets rid of the focuser 'slop'. So....I upgrade my rating! Very clear and wide, great with glasses, and can be made very sharp. These are not super-premium, but they are really outstanding for the money. BTW: if you see a white frost or 'bloom' on the rubber, a wiping with WD40 or ArmorAll and dry-wiping off the excess fixes it no problem.
